Darren groaned, "Yes. They fucking did," The raspiness in his voice was returned. He dug through and found a blue beanie. "Back to this shit, I guess."

"Or, you know, I could do a little something." Electricity sparked from her fingertips. "But if you insist."
Darren looked at her with pleading eyes, "Would you?"
"Gladly!" She swirled her fingers around his head and a yellow fog followed her fingers before disappearing, leaving his hair the way it had been before he'd gone into the hospital.
He put a hand to his head, when he felt the curls in his fingers he let out a sigh of relief, "Thank you, Belle,"
"Anytime Darren. It's the one thing I'm useful for." She shrugged with a small smile.
"And keeping Ryan from being in the depression he was in before he met you,"
"Ehhh, that's debatable for now." She sighed.
"Debatable? You should have seen him before. He was a mess. At least he's less suicidal now," Darren had no filter and assumed she knew everything.
"That reminds me, I've wanted to ask this, what was he like before he met me? I'm just curious."
"The same guy but the only thing he could do to stay alive was make music. He had some bad depression and he wouldn't let people touch him. Not even a high five although at the same time he was a typical playboy. He had frat girls in that house and they'd be gone the next day. Same with the guys. Other than the constant need for all of that he was suicidal and he had the voices in his head that he talked to like they were people," Darren stopped, he had said too much already right?
"Really? Is there anything else?" Now she was really interested.
"Those are the basics," Darren didn't feel like he should say much more. This was bad enough.
"Shouldn't be surprised he didn't tell me. He barely tells me anything even when I ask. He says he'd answer any questions I had but then he stops halfway through and never finishes." She was slightly venting, just needing to calm down a bit.
"Yeah… He does that," Darren laughed, "It's hard for him… You just need to pick a time when it's just the two of you and listen to him. Don't make it about yourself but don't pity him, hear him out and don't react too dramatically,"
She burst out laughing. "You say that like I'd do that. I do nothing but listen and I do ask when it's just us but guess what? I get nothing! Or at least, I don't get a completed story." She was venting.
Darren nodded, "Do you react or make it about you? I did that too. He doesn't want attention but he doesn't want people to relate to him. I tried and it made him stop talking. Don't relate to him while he's telling you and just listen and it'll be okay and like I said don't react, he hates it,"
Lillian snored.
"So just be a blank slate? That's easy." She wiped her face clean of emotion and was completely still before breaking into a smile. "It looks a little like a serial killer but whatever."
Lillian snored.
(Lol same)

"Well. That's what he appreciates. Even if you don't, he can't handle people that makes things about themselves, pet peeve I suppose,"
"See, this is the stuff I need to know but he never tells me." She muttered.
Darren chuckled, "That is why you have me… Maybe we should hang out more, you know?" Darren looked away awkwardly.
She smiled a little. "Sounds great."
Lillian clung onto Darren. Mine.
She chuckled. "I think Lillian is getting protective in her sleep. Lil! I'm not trying to steal your man! I have one of my own!"

(Lol)
Darren put a protective arm around Lillian, "Can't wait,"
She chuckled. "I think Lillian is getting protective in her sleep. Lil! I'm not trying to steal your man! I have one of my own!"
Darren laughed, "Looks like! I think you are the only one who likes cancer boy," He whispered to Lillian.
Lillian sighed into him. Mine.
"Alright, I feel like I'm suffocating in here. I need some air. I'll be back." She stepped out, forcing herself not to run outside, instead just walking. She opened the door and she sighed in relief.
