Lillian shook her head as she forced down a yawn, "Not really."
"O-Okay. If you need to sleep. I won't be offended,"

(Hi
what's going on?)
She was too engaged in her own thoughts to hear him. "It doesn't add up, why doesn't it add up. You promised it'd turn out okay why did you lie to me." She hissed to herself.
Lillian yawned and leaned against him, "Okay."
She was too engaged in her own thoughts to hear him. "It doesn't add up, why doesn't it add up. You promised it'd turn out okay why did you lie to me." She hissed to herself.
"Hey, Belle, pay attention. This is life or death for me right now,"
Lillian yawned and leaned against him, "Okay."
Darren grabbed the notebook and began drawing small designs again just so he wouldn't fall asleep.
She clenched her jaw, squeezing her eye shut. "I can't do that. I told you, that's not an option." She was still fighting with herself quietly.
Lillian failed to stay awake as she fell asleep against Darren.
She clenched her jaw, squeezing her eye shut. "I can't do that. I told you, that's not an option." She was still fighting with herself quietly.
Ryan sat up and kissed her, anything to get her attention.
Lillian failed to stay awake as she fell asleep against Darren.
Darren laughed and continued to draw. He refused to sleep.
That snapped her out of it. "Hmm? What? What happened? I've been…busy." Busy making deals with the devil.
"Stop doing what you're doing and answer my question before I kill myself."
"What question? There was a question?"
"Can. We. Go. See. Him," Ryan didn't realize how short he was being with her, he just wanted to know.
"Oh, sure. If you want to." She hated how dumb she sounded. But it was the best she could do right now without freaking out.
Ryan stood up and walked out quickly, not waiting for her. He knocked on Darren's door.
"Goddamn, if you couldn't wait for that much then you could've gone yourself." She muttered, walking up behind him.
"It felt respectful to ask you, we're a team or something weird like that." He knocked again.
Lillian was still asleep on Darren.
"I wouldn't have minded if you left without me. He's more your friend than mine."
"He's your friend too," Ryan stated blankly as he decided to just walk in.
Darren's head snapped up and a smile was on his face, his throat hurt a ton but at least he could talk.
Didn't say he wasn't. I said he was more your friend than mine. But she chose to bite her response back. This was about Darren, not them.
"Hey guys," Darren said weakly although it was clear he was happy to see them. Ryan took a seat in a chair close to Darren's bed.
She moved forward but chose to hang back closer to the door. She felt so out of place but chose not to say anything, instead going with a small smile as her greeting.
"Are you going to sit or just hover?" Darren smiled at Belle. Ryan looked at her like he had a similar question.
"Hmm? Oh, I think I'll just stand. It's fine." She tried not to look like she was being crushed by her own internal battles. Get me the hell out of here I don't belong.
Darren nodded and looked down, "I-If you don't want to be here that's fine,"
"No, it's fine, really. I just prefer to stand, that's all." She focused on not rushing her words, it'd make her seem more nervous than she should be. I shouldn't be here. I have other life or death things to deal with.
Darren nodded, he looked ashamed. Ryan had already left the room, something about going to the bathroom. "You seem uncomfortable," Darren stated as he tried and failed to lift a black duffel bag onto bed.
"That's just normal." She walked over, lifting the bag onto the bed. "So I see they cut your hair."
