Rachel frowned at her words. They didn't make sense.
Lillian looked to Ginger and smiled at her, "Good job."
Rachel frowned at her words. They didn't make sense.
Lillian looked to Ginger and smiled at her, "Good job."
Ginger cried and hugged Lillian hard. "You're alive! You're alive!" A thought hit her, a hard slap across her face. She pulled away from the hug. "I let you die."
Lillian pulled her back in, "No you didn't. You didn't let me die."
"I shouldn't have let you come in. Oh… I should have been me…" Ginger moaned.
Lillian held her close, "No! This was, has, and will always been between me and her. To let you die in my place isn't right. So please don't think about it like that."
"I let her get you. It's my fault. I scared everyone…" Ginger whispered mournfully.
Lillian pulled away and looked her dead in the eyes, "After she would've killed you she would've killed me too. In my eyes I prevented a death."
Ginger blinked. She had never had a friend like this. Her eyes showed only the hidden pain of her past, but a hint of hope as well. "I've never had a friend like you," she admitted. Painfully.
(You ain't never had a friend like me!)
(Sorry, I am so not funny… I'm sorryyyyyyy)
(Lol)
Lillian gave her a side smile, "Well I suppose that's good. You ain't never had a friend like me!"
(Sorry, I am so not funny… I'm sorryyyyyyy)
(You are funny! I laughed!)
Ginger couldn't help but laugh (at her own joke). "See?" she giggled.
(That I stole) Lillian laughed, "Yeah I see."
Leo heard sirens he said laughing, "GUYS RUN THE PO-PO'S HERE!"
Ginger cradled her injured arm, trying to hide the true amount of blood gushing out from the others.
Leo snapped his fingers, "Oh right your arm Ginger! Can I see it?"
Ginger hesitated. "Don't worry about me…"
Leo placed a hand on his heart, "I am a doctor Miss Ginger! It's my job to worry!"
Ginger uncovered her arm. It was bleeding a lot more than she had been letting on. The blade cut so deep that the bone was almost visible. Her face was becoming pale, but she had no idea.
Leo rushed over and pulled out his emergency gauze. He wrapped the wound up quickly, "Why didn't you tell me sooner!"
"Lillian… She…" Ginger's voice was faint. She felt light headed, but pushed it away. "I'm fine…" Her knees were about to give out.
"Lillian.." Leo shook his head, "I'm grateful you put others before yourself. But once the situation had been handled, you should've reminded me of your injury. Instead of retreating back into your guilt."
Ginger's eyes were blank. Her breathing was slow, and she could hear it in her ears. Her legs… Her legs…
Leo gently held her shoulders. He had stopped the bleeding, "Ginger? Ginger are you okay? Can you hear me?"
Leo. His voice. Fuzzy. Her glossy eyes blinked at him, confused.
(I'm winging it. I have no idea what symptoms that this kind of injury would actually bring, and I apologize to anyone who does if I screw it up.)
(Granted that Rachel doesn’t have the force behind the knife to actually sink it to the bone, the worse symptom Ginger would have is light headiness that could lead to fainting from the blood loss. So yeah…. The only reason why Lillian hot to as bad as she did is becuase Rachel knows all the major arteries and cut them open. Causing rapid blood loss at level Ginger would not have had…)
(Thank you! I feel like I would offend someone.)
(Your welcome! Also is it bad I can pull that off the top of my head?)
(A little. Leo?)
Leo tried again as he looked into her glazed eyes, “Can you hear me?”
