(Sorry about yesterday, I don't have long today either as I'm going about in a few)
The Doctor gave some sort of smile, "Well, at least you had some fun. What about you and John?" He looked up and winked at them.
"Oh, no, I'm not gay." John said.
"Yes he is." Sherlock said. Clara tried to keep from laughing, but failed. Miserably. She was hysterical within seconds. Sherlock said nothing.
"No, no I'm not." John repeated but red was creeping into his cheeks.
"Don't be stupid, of course you are." Sherlock said. "But we aren't in a relationship, no." he said. (My inner Johnlock shipper says not yet lmao)
(Honestly same)
John didn’t say anything more but the blush was still there.
“Ah, okay then.” The doctor said, a grin in his face, “Annnnd, there we go.” He said holding up the device, “All fixed up.”
"Well, let's go kick some potato dwarf ass." Clara said. "No offense to Strax, of course." she added. She had met Madame Vastra and her wife, Jenny, and their…. butler? Strax multiple times, and though he was tiresome and had the same level of understanding of the universe as a dead starfish did, he was well meaning and good natured. Ish.
“Strax?” John said regaining his composure.
“He’s a sontaran, friend though, but stupid.” The doctor replied.
"Yeah, long story." Clara grinned.
"Let's go, there's no time for dawdling." Sherlock scoffed. He looked at John. "Are you ready?" he asked. "This is going to be more dangerous than anything you've ever faced before." he said.
“Of course I am.” John said, looking up at Sherlock, “Nothing I can’t handle after living with you.”
The Doctor laughed a little and placed the vortex manipulator on his wrist, “Hands on everyone.”
Clara placed a hand on the vortex manipulator, Sherlock hesitated. "John, you might not be handle this. It's a whole different world, you know." he said, true concern evident in his voice.
"Sherlock, I'll be fine, alright." He sad, placing his hand on top of Clara's, "Come on Sherlock." John said, the Doctor stayed quiet.
Sherlock leaned in and whispered something to John that Clara and the Doctor couldn't hear. "Listen," he said in the quietest tone he could manage, "Promise me one thing. Let these two get themselves killed first before you even think about doing something brave or irrational and getting yourself killed. Okay?" he asked.
john blinked for a second then nodded, "Promise." He said, "Now, get your hand on this thing."
Sherlock placed his hand on the manipulator, and a second later they had teleported to some sort of loading bay. It was vacant, except for a few Sontaran warriors patrolling it.
"Who goes there!?" One of the guards said, pointing a gun in their direction.
"Let's run." Clara suggested.
The guard shot and barely missed them, "Good idea." The doctor said, turning and running.
Clara ran, Sherlock following. "Come on, John!" he shouted.
John did, he told Sherlock he could handle this and he would show him that, "Where are we going?" He asked.
"Away from them." The Doctor replied.
"This is suicide!" Sherlock grumbled.
"This is the best part!" The Doctor shouted behind them, the grin in his voice prominent.
"So no different form our everyday then Sherlock?" John smiled at him.
"No, because we don't have the risk of dying every day!" Sherlock snapped. He secretly missed this.
"All the more fun!" John replied.
"Alright leave your couples talk to when we aren't running for out lives you two!" The Doctor said as the rounded a corner and came face to face with a sontaran.
"Doctor! Watch out!" Clara shouted. She pushed her friend out of the way, lasers being fired at her and the Doctor… and missing. Phew! she thought.
The Doctor pointed his sonic at the gun and it stopped working, "Run the other way!"
"Other way." Clara said, grabbing the Doctor's hand and pulling him along.
The Doctor followed, "Come on Sherlock, John." John ran after Clara and The Doctor.
Sherlock took the lead. He had been on Sontaran ships before, he knew the general layout. "Follow me, I think we're near the engine room." he said.
"Who put you in charge?" The Doctor said but followed him anyway/
"I put me in charge. It's a skill." he said.
