Venus knew that she had to get out of here. She couldn't think, she just did. She stood up, tears still streaming down her face, and hurried through the building and out the front door, making a beeline for her car.

Nessa peeked out the window and saw Venus sprinting to her car, Nessa rushed out the door and fallowed, "V! Venus are you ok!" She caught her hand, "Venus what's going on?"

Venus fumbled for her keys. Her backpack was in the house… with her keys in the side pocket. She hurriedly ran back inside to grab them, seeing Nessa, but barely heard her. "I have to go I'll be back," she managed.

Venus jolted, her keys almost flying from her hand. Her finger's gripped the lanyard that they were on tighter. "I have to go Nessa I'll be back." Her speech wasn't slurred, as expected, but instead superfast and barely understandable.
