Dexter wandered around the fairground. He hadn't spotted anyone he knew so far.

Zyra walked around the fair, with her friends. Looking around for people she knew while talking to her friends.

Dexter spotted Zyra across the crowd. He smiled and made his way over to her. "HEY Z!"

Zyra turned around and smiled back at Dexter, "Hey, Dexter."

"Enjoying the fair?"

"Yep, what about you?"

"Meh. The farmer at the crafts booth was glaring at me the whole time." He chuckled.

"Why?" She said with a slight laugh.

"I don't think he liked my shirt." Dexter gestured to the t-shirt under his flannel shirt. It had thespian on it in big bold letters.

"Makes sense." Her friends quietly left to look around the fair since they found other interesting things.

"Who're here with?"

"My friends." She turned around to see they left and turned back around, "Annnd they left me."

"Story of my life." He nodded. "So how have you been? I haven't seen you since last year at the Frank's Christmas party."

"Just stayed home because I didn't have anything to do." She said as she pushed up her glasses which were slightly starting to fall down, "What about you? How have you been since last year's Christmas party?"

"Eh. Pretty good I guess. I'm on a writer's block at the moment…"

"What is it about? I might be able to help."

"It's about a prince that gets turned into a dragon by a witch but he kinda enjoys it."

"And what part of that story are you stuck at?"

"The part where they confront the witch. I haven't figured out how I want to play her."

"Make her act like someone you know very well?????? So that you have a base?" She said, making it sound more like a question than an answer to a question.

"Maybe…." He snickered. "I could make her like you."

"Wait, what, why me?"

"I'm kidding."

"Okay then, who are you going to make her like then?"

"I don't know." He sighed. "I came here to take a break so Imma enjoy this day without worrying about writing."

"Okay then, you do whatever you want to do."
