Leo sat down next to her concerned, “Do you want to talk about it?”
Leo sat down next to her concerned, “Do you want to talk about it?”
Ginger hesitated. She opened her eyes to reveal their glossy coating.
Leo ruffled her hair slightly, “It’ll get better kid. Promise.”
"I don't know." Ginger secretly was hoping that Rachel and Miranda would have killed her.
Leo smiled at her, “Oh I know. You look like a good kid and you seem to be pretty smart.”
"I guess." Talking still hurt. Her lungs felt deflated. Her neck was prickly. She barely believed him.
Leo looked at her and got up, “Get some rest it will help your body heal.”
Ginger didn't have to be told twice. Within seconds she was asleep. Rachel, Jared, and Miranda haunted her dreams. She thrashed and moaned.
Leo sighed and debated in his head. He sat down next to her and sang a lullaby he used to sing to Lillian. It had always heloed with her nightmares.
The song pierced her dreams. It washed away the awful trio and calmed her. Thank you.
Leo smiled as she calmed down. He ruffled her hair and continued to pack up his stuff.
Unsteady floated through her mind, calming her even more.
Leo got all his belongings and looked back to Ginger. She was still fast asleep, good.
Coincidentally, when the song finished in her dream, Ginger awoke. She sat up, but eased back down quickly at the pain.
(Morning)
(Morning!)
Leo looked to her with a slight smile, “And you live. Ready to go home?”
(Yay)
(Yay!)
Darren slept hard. The episode had made him weak and tired, really wiped him out. Besides, he felt like he hurt Lillian.
Lillian was sleeping soundly with no signs of waking up. Her throat was cleared so her breathing was smooth and even.
The only dreams coursing through his mind were those of losing Lillian and those of being caught in a hospital, wide awake with people drilling his head open.
Lillian had moved herself towards Darren her head buried in his chest.
Darren whimpered and held onto her.
Lillian relaxed into him and let out a soft sigh.
Darren was sweating for the adrenaline of the dream but relaxed into Lillian anyways, she made him feel safe, like nothing could touch him.
Lillian felt safe, even though he did get out of hand sometimes, with Darren. She loved him with his faults.
(Death and despair.)
(Hi)
(Random Thing: I just found a picture from my sophomore or freshman year (can’t tell)… I look like a baby, I used to be so cute)
