She eventually spotted him near the fountain. He was hidden behind the sparkling water, and it was quite hard to look at.

North walked down to the fountain, running the rest of the way when she got close enough. When she reached the guy she wrapped her hands around his neck and gave him a huge hug. "Thank you." She whispered.

The male voice in his ear had died momentarily.
M dropped the book (which didn't have far to drop anyway) and glanced at her, shocked. "Y-you're welcome, North." He awkwardly patted her shoulder.

North pulled back quickly. "How do you know my name?" She asked hesitantly.

M frowned a little. "Because the Gods of my Universe, including my brother, created this Dimension to keep me away from, what you would call, normal people." He scoffed.

• "Just because I'm the most powerful Mind Reader to exist in the Multiverse.

My damn brother doesn't know left from goddamn right." He shook his head again. "Sorry, it's just really weird that you wound up here. I can get you out if you want." And make the population of this dimension one again. He thought.

"Oh..sorry.." North said sadly.

(You don't have to have her react to that again if you don't want to.)

"Well, I told you, I'm a Mind Reader. Yet, I find it's harder to pay attention when you're angry." He grinned at her.

"Well then maybe i'll just stay mad." She said trying to keep a strait face as she looked at him.

He rolled his eyes. "I know that you're much happier now that you're here."

She hugged him again laughing. "Why shouldn't I? It's not like I have anybody to miss."

M grinned a little. "Yeah," He said distantly, wondering why a girl such as her would like him, without even asking a name.

"What's your name?" She asked him, realizing just now that she didn't know it.

"Oh, well before I was exiled, people called me M. My real name is weird, you wouldn't need to know it."

"Ok." She pulled back and leaned against the fountain, "So, M, what happened with you? Like, how did you get exiled?"

M sighed and glanced up at the sky. The male voice started laughing again. Tell her, and perhaps she'll have pity on you!
"My brother and the Gods of my original Universe thought I was too dangerous to have around."
Perhaps I don't need to tell her why I'm too dangerous.
She'll find out… Crooned the voice.

"Oh. That sucks, i'm sorry." North said, "You seem like a pretty scary guy." She smirked.

M smiled a little in spite of himself and shrugs. "That's alright," he said, feeling relieved. "I just get lonely every now and then."

"Me too." She said quietly, leaning her head on M's shoulder.

(Okay so is this going to be a parent-y - child love, or is this going to be, 'I love someone who is thousands of years old' love?)
M glanced at her nervously. When would she realize that he is dangerous for a reason and question him?
Soon, perhaps. Hissed the voice.

She looked up, "You okay?" North asked him.

(Well I would prefer a parent-child because M's really well… OLD. And North is really YOUNG. I would support older and younger relationships, but never be in one, if you catch my groove.)
M grinned at her. "Yeah, I'm okay." The lie bit the back of his throat. Lying to her didn't feel right.

"Ok, just checking." She said. "Does it ever…weather..and stuff here?"

(DOES IT EVER WEATHER MEEE TOO)
"If I want it to," M said simply, shrugging.

"Oh cool. Do you have any food? Or do you not eat either?" North asked.

"No, I eat." It certainly didn't look it though. M was very skinny. "I can cook if that's what you're asking. My family was one of royal cooks, before becoming royalty themselves." M said with distant pride in his voice.

"Ahhh you cook my king." She said laughing.

M chuckled faintly, not finding it too funny, because it's his brother that was royalty, not him.
"Yeah, but if you're hungry I can make you something."
