Dani laughed. "Okay. Just follow me." She put his arms on her waist and her arms on his shoulders. Conveniently, "Beauty and the Beast" started playing in the backround.

Dani gently led Zander into the dance. "See?" She said softly. "Not that hard."

Zander chuckled," I've never danced before, and you are an amazing teacher." Zander laughed as he heard the music." Does this make me the beast?"

"Haha very funny." Dani said playfully. "I don't know. Does it??"

Skylar watched Zander and Dani for a little while, then she turned her attention to Peter. Standing up, she did a small curtsy and held out her hand. "Would you like to dance, my lord?" She giggled.

Crap. Erm, sort of.”, she said to Ace, leading him gently to the dance floor. “Dani, Blake, and Zander met him while they were rescuing him Zander's little sister.” She cleared her throat, preparing herself to comfort Ace further. “He um, died helping them get away.”

"Died…….?" Ace's grin faded away as he sat down on the edge of the stage, near the speakers. Deaddeaddeaddeaddeaddeaddeaddeaddeaddeaddeaddead-"I, um. Don't feel good." He tilted his head back and lied down, closing his eyes to stop the tears. I shouldn't cry in front of hundreds of other people.

Why did you tell him that?! Macha bit her lip, wrapping her arms around Ace. “ I’m so sorry, Ace. He must’ve been an amazing person. Do you want to step out for a bit?, she asked softly, wiping a single tear off if Ace’s face, who wore a broken expression. “It’s okay to cry.”, she whispered.

Dani looked up at Zander. "So, this probably isn't the best topic, but are you and your sister close?"

Dani thought that it was funny that she had to lift her head to see Zander's face. He was like what, one foot taller than her?

"He wasn't an amazing person. And that's what made him so special. Because he wasn't afraid to admit he wasn't all that great." Ace sniffled and looked at Macha, "This day is so full of death. I wish it was tomorrow. And I wouldn't have to think about them anymore or talk about them, or cry about them, because then I can forget, and pretend that they're off getting a coffee while I'm sitting with Zodiac. It's too hard to forget on the day they died. I have a constant reminder banging in the back of my head, and it's hard. It's so hard. Death is hard." he let the tears flow freely down his face. "I know too many people who've died."

Zander winced."Umm… We're close as brother and sister, but I've only ever seen her after a successful mission and," Zander shook his head" and those are the times which, I don't like reflecting, especially the times before I came up with a way to fool the R.A.C. I always made sure to come back for her with a gift, that's why I had the mirror that I gave Blake. And I've told her about our family, or at least what I could remember from them."

Macha crouched down on the floor with him, unsure whether he needed physical comfort or space. “Let all the tears out. You didn’t deserve what happened to you. I’m sorry, sorry you’ve had to deal with death all your life. I’m sorry that you couldn’t have a normal life, a happy one.” Pain throbbed in her heart as she longed to embrace him, to give him some form of comfort. I’m sorry. “Do you want to step out for a bit, or do you need some alone time?”

"I want you to stay. And, besides, I was never meant for a normal life anyway." Ace held onto Macha's smooth stone arm, "What if I did deserve everything that happened to me? What if it was my fault? Maybe, if I hadn't been born, they'd all still be alive."

Frankie accepts the kiss happily then brings him into a tight hug. Tears roll down her cheeks. She's unsure of whether they are tears of joy or sadness. Under her breath, she whispered. "If only you could see me now dad."

Macha’s eyes filled with tears as she heard the harsh words Ace directed towards himself. “No Ace! Never think that!”, she said, voice trembling with emotion. “Unless you shot them in the head, their deaths were not your fault. They mad e their own choices, and you helped their lives be better! Of Kameo was your boyfriend, than you would’ve brought so much into his life. Love does that, Ace. You don’t deserve any of that, never.” Her voice, though strong, had undertones of desperation. The last time she’d heard someone say that about themselves they’d been trying to commit suicide. What had she done?
