Nova kissed his cheek again. "Com on tell me."

"Wren, you sure you're okay?" Lily leaves Jason behind and runs to Wren. "You look pale. Do you want to go get some water to drink really quick.?" She looked over to Nova "He really doesn't look well."

“Well, umm.. you see umm…the thing is that… that a while ago…” He started, he took a deep breath in to calm himself, “My younger brother drowned a few years ago and…I couldn’t swim so I couldn’t save him..” He said quietly.

Without thinking, Lily wrapped her arms around him "I'm so sorry!"

Wren hugged her back, “I-It’s not your fault, it was my fault for not knowing how to swim.” He never said that out loud before. He’s always blamed himself for his death because he was the older brother he was supposed to protect him from tha and he didn’t. And the beating got worse after his death.

"Oh! That's terrible!" She squirmed around Lily to hug Wren.

Jason pulled Lily back. "How about we let Nova do the comforting." Right, what was she thinking? She watched as Nova and Wren embraced each other. "W-we should go do something else then."

“I-It’s fine…” He said, hugging Nova as well.

"Was he nice? Your brother?"

“He was a devil,” Wren said, laughing a little, “But… we had each other when our parents would…do stuff to each other, or me,” He sighed, “Always played hide and seek and never came out until I found him. He always hid in the same place so it was fairly easy.” He laughed at the memory.

"Was he older or younger?"

"I'm done," Lily mumbled. Garbing a random towel she covered herself and walked away. "I'm fine, I'm fine," she kept repeating hoping that it would come true at some point. "Lily?" Ashton goes running but is Grabbed by Jason "She needs time."

“Younger, we would have been nine this year…”

"Oh… How long ago was this?"

“Three years ago, he was nearly six when it happened.”

"Well, that must have sucked…" She snuggled closer and laid her head on his chest.

Ashton, also couldn't be around them. Not because of Nova, it was just awkward. "I'm going to look for Lily." He stormed off.

“You could say that…” He put his arm round her.

She stayed there for a moment before getting up. "Anyway, I'm soaked from the lake and should probably change. Also, I got your clothes soaked, so you might wanna do the same. She gave him a small kiss and headed ofd to the girl house.

He smiled a little and did the same, going back to change.

Lily had been in the little forest behind her house, now wet and shivering. There was no way she was going back now. "Lily?" James put a bigger towel around her. To bad for Ashton, but Jason knew all her hiding spots. "Let's sit and talk."

Nova looked through her clothes. She mostly had all black clothes, in order to look edgy, but she had brought one bright outfit, mostly for nostalgia. It was a pink skater skirt and pink half shirt. She looked at it for a second then put it on, as well as white knee high boots with heels. She slipped on her glasses and put in some barrets. She looked in the mirror and smile.

Wren quickly changed and headed back downstairs, sitting on the porch with an apple he had quickly grabbed in his way out.

"Wren, have you seen Lily?" Ashton asked looking everywhere for her but has had no luck.

Nova walked downstairs, struggling to get used to walking in the heel boots. She went over to Wren with her arms slightly held out.

"Oh hey Ash, didn't think you'd be here. She sat down quickly.

It was like she was a completely different person. He wanted to laugh a little at how much she was changing for Wern, but he had more pressing matter to attend too.

“No, I haven’t seen her, sorry mate.” Wren said,

Nova stood up again. "You know, maybe I should practice in these-woah!" She suddenly fell on top of Ashton.

His head hit the ground a lot harder then he thought. "Eh,?" He saw Nova on top of him. "This is weird,"
