Lily's eyes met his and she looked away. "Is that the guy you like?" Jason asked, in a hushed tone. "Not anymore," She looked at Nova who had a smile on her face. Lily has never felt this way and she didn't like it one bit.

Wren laughed a little, ”Actually, I was helping Sarah with a job so no, I didn’t sleep in this time.” He smiled down at Nova.

"Lily," Jason said sadly. Her face said she was in pain, Jason has known her long enough to tell. Ashton pulled Lily out of the water. "Let's go," Lily stumbled getting out of the lake "Where are we going?" Jason watched closely. "That guy needs to be more honest."

"Oh! Why don't you come swim with us?"

“No thanks, and I think they’ve all gone.” Wren said looking at the lake.

"So, your names Wren?" Jason asked still in the water "I'll have to remember that". Since he is the guy Lily likes at the moment

Nova shrugged. "At least come talk with us.

"This place brings back so many memories" Jason pushed himself out of the lake sitting on the grass next to Nova. "Come, join us, Wren."

"Ooo what kinds of memories?"

“Yeah, I’m Wren, and you’re Jason, right?” He walked over to the lake but sat on the dry part.

"Well," He leaned in close "Don't tell her I told you but," He made sure Lily was still far away. "She followed me around like a little duck, and if a girl came close she would cling to me," Jason let out a laugh remembering it

Wren laughed with him, “Do you think she likes you more then a friend?” He asked.

Nova laughed quietly. "Never really imagined Lily clinging to a boy."

"Yeah, she doesn't seem like that kinda girl, but she easily falls in love even if she doesn't notice it herself." Jason looks at Wren pondering over his question "Not sure to be honest." Ashton led Lily far enough away where no one could hear them. "Why did you bring me over here?" Ripping her arm out Ashton's grip "Look, I need to know, Do you like Wren? Or maybe it's Jason." This was silly she smiled "Yes it hurts to see Wren, but I barely know the guy. And Jason I will always love Jason he was my first love." Ashton didn't know if he should be relieved or more on guard. "If that's all let's go back."

Wren shrugged and looked at the water, “Why do you all like swimming so much?” He asked. After the incident he never really grasped the idea of swimming or being in a large body of water.

"Good way to blow off some steam and cool off at the same time." Jason sees Lily in the distance coming back. "Remember don't tell her anything." He said jumping back into the water.

“Got it.” He winked at Jason before picking up the guitar and made it look like he was just finishing a song.

Nova laughed again. "I won't. Promise."

"So, what happened while we were gone?" Lily asked making her way over to Nova.

Nova smiled brightly. "Nothing…"

Wren strummed a few chords, “Just discussing why you all love water so much.” He answered.

Ashton's reading people sensor tingled "Mhm. Sure." Ashton didn't feel like swimming at the moment so he sat in the grass. "Lily come join, no one else is swimming with me," Jason said in fake sadness. She run and jumped on top of him sending both of them under the water.

Wren laughed a little and played a Beetles song as they swam in the water.

Nova kissed Wren on the cheek. "Come on! You should swim with us!"

Wren blushed a little, “No, I don’t swim.” He said, continuing to play.

"Alright, well, the water's cold anyway, I guess."

“it’s not because it’s…cold…” He mumbled.

Jason pulled Lily close, while everyone was doing their own thing. "I just wanted to let you know, before I leave again in a few days. I like you." Lily pushed him away laughing "You can't play those kinds of jokes," She splashed him.

"Then what is it?"

Wren suddenly felt very flustered and nervous, I shouldn’t have said that. I should not have said that. He thought, “Nothing, sorry I shouldn’t have said anything.”
