"'I don't have a choice of girls, you've basically claimed Nova as yours. So even if it did end up that I liked Nova more, I wouldn't be able to do anything anyway." Ashton let out a small chuckle. "Anyway. congrats on the whole mutual feelings and shit." Ashton sighes as he stood.

Wren smiled a little, “Thanks, I’m sorry again about the whole situation…” He bit his lip trying not to say something he’d regret.

Lily burst through the door "Nova update me, what happened?" Unlike Ashton Lily was more skilled at hiding her feeling. And now she was never going to let anyone know, it would be wrong of her. She sat on Nova's bed ready to hear the news.

"Huh?" She turned around, surprised. "Oh! It went… Ok…" Nova started blushing.

"Your face tells me there's more," Lily adjusted herself more on the bed. "Are you a couple now?" She was hurt by her own words. No, Wren is a no go! She mentally slapped herself.

"Uh… No? Maybe? I have no idea."

(Wait, lemme get this straight, Nova and Wren like each other, Ashton likes Nova but kinda likes Lily now as well and Lily likes Wren?)

Yup its choas but hey everyone is sad and thats all that matters right? Also, I'm planning for Nova to switch to Ashton at some point maybe.

Ashton didn't sleep much last night because of what happened. He wanted fresh air. As soon as he walked out he saw Lily carrying a bucket of milk. Her hair in braids, she was wearing overalls with her boots and this was the first time she had worn her glasses since they have been here. Ashton couldn't help but think she looked utterly adorable. "Good morning," She said having trouble holding the bucket. "What time is it?" She smiles "You all slept in, so I've done most of the chores." He takes the bucket from her "Hey!" He ignores her as he walks to the barn "Ley me do this much at least. Lily thought it was weird how nice he was being.

Wren woke up, dressed and walked downstairs grabbing an apple before calling out to Lily and Ashton, “Hey anything you need me to do?”

It was hard for Lily to see Wren but she had to face that fact that it was never going to happen. "Want to help feed the pigs?" Lily's mom walked out "Lily darling, I have a surprise for you."

“Alright!” He sprinted over to the pigs, grabbing their food and emptying the contents into the trough, “Hey, there you are…” He spoke quietly to them.

"What is it, mom?" Before her mother could answer a car pulled up and stopped right in front of her. "Lily!" Jason stepped out of the car with arms wide open. Lily screamed running up to him jumping into his arms. James was two years older than her, he came here as a troubled 17-year-old. "Are you doing well?" She held him tight. "Eh," Ashton almost dropped the milk watching the scene play out in front of him.

Wren walked over to Ashton, “Who’s that?” He asked him.

"Don't know." Ashton's arms grew more tired as timed pasted holding this dang bucket. He hurriedly put the bucket in the barn and came running back out. "Ashton, Wren, this is Jason. He used to be like you but he was here two years ago." Lily had noticed what she was wearing and was aware that she looked less than decent. "I'll be back." She rushed off. "So," Jason said standing a few inches taller than both the boys. "Who made Lily cry?"

Wren held his hands up in innocence, “Not me.”

Jason's eyes darted toward Ashton. "Listen, you don't have to be rude to her just because you see her charm!" James grabbed Ashton by his collar and pull him close "Don't ever make her cry again." His gaze sharp and cold. "What are you to her?" Ashton spat back. "I'm like a big brother, and do you know what brothers do to jerks who bully their sister," Ashton knew all to all. This isn't the first time this has happened. "James!" Lily called out. He quickly let go of Ashton and put on a smile. "I want to show you how well, I've trained Tucker." She grabbed his hand and led him away. "What a jerk!" Ashton said trying to straighten the wrinkles off his shirt.

“I agree with you there.” Wren said, his eyes following Lily and James as they left.

"Do you think he likes her more than a brother? Because it seems like that to me." He glared at the back of his head. "Thank goodness Lily is naive to things like that." It gave Ashton a bit of hope to get in between them.

Wren nudged him and smiled, “Ask her, then you know if you have a chance.”

Ashton's face turned a bit red. "She hates me though." Ashton slumps "There is no way she is going to tell me." He messed things up bad with Lily.
