(Slow clapping. Good job, my heartbreaker side of me approves.)

"Odette?! ODETTE NO! PLEASE, NO, COME BACK!" Paige screamed. She could barely hear herself, her ears were cloudy. She hugged Odette's lifeless body close. "No… not again, no…"

The screen flicked on again. "youll have approximatly 2 days until the next vote. So sad she had to die, i liked her." it read. the screen stayed on for a few minutes like that and then flicked back off again.

Lixi mumbled in her sleep and immediately moved her arm, feeling for Enzo. "Enzo, Enzo?" The screams and the cries in the background were all a blur to her. Was she still alive?

Paige stalked to the screen. "You liar! You freaking liar! I hate you!" she punched the screen repeatedly under her wrist felt like it was broken. She took a nearby chair and flung it at the screen. She sunk to her knees, Odette's final letter in her pocket, and wailed.

@WriteOutofTime

Enzo gathered Lixi into his arms, holding her close. His heart was racing so fast he thought he'd pass out. He was alive… he survived. But at what cost? Had he just been responsible for Veda –no Odette's death? He held Lixi in a fierce embrace, clinging to her as though she were his lifeline. "It- it's…" he tried to say it's okay, but nothing came out. It wasn't okay.

(Here)

Paige took the letter out of her pocket and unfolded it. She began to read it.

Lixi shifted a bit, she was too tired to comprehend what was going on, but she that Enzo was alive meaning…………no. Lixi's body shuddered as she hung onto Enzo. She had just killed a woman.

John looked from Enzo to Odette. She hadn't told us that someone was waiting for her, somewhere out in the world. Sophia Granger. And now Paige… 'Veda' hadn't told us anything.

@WriteOutofTime

Sudden anger filled Enzo. He let go of Lixi and stood, his hands shaking with rage. He looked around desperately for cameras, wires, anything, and screamed, "You can't do this to us! You're gonna leave us –you're just gonna leave this g*damn dead body in here like it's…like it's okay? You're a sick psychopath! Let us out!"

John winced at what Enzo brought to attention. The body. And poor Lixi would have to see it too. John walked over to it, "I think… I'm going to put her back in the rooms we started out in. As a… burial," He said quietly and solemnly. He was only nineteen and he was going to help take care of a body… He felt like he should be crying, but… he never showed emotion like that. He looked at everyone else hesitantly for objections.

The screen flicked on. "You can only get out if your of the last few left. The body can go in the last room on the left down the hallway. did i forget to mention that?" it read on a few screens, then shut off once more.

John went as pale as snow when the screen responded to him, "H-How many is the last few?" He stammered out.

@WriteOutofTime

Enzo glared at the screen. "Last few?" he repeated, his voice a harsh laugh. "You're just gonna let a few of us go like we'll ever be okay after this? What…why would you even do this? What are you hoping to gain?"

@payten_the_coffee_addict

the screen again turned on. "Well you could all die, if youd prefer. But what im hoping to gain? for you to learn a lesson. otherwise thats for me to know and you to find out. Go to bed and sleep on everything ive told you." it commanded. then shut off.

@WriteOutofTime

"F–k you," he screamed, slamming his fist into the screen. The screen cracked but didn't shatter, and only left his knuckles a swollen mess.

John looked down at the body again and slowly, he grabbed Odette's too cold arm.
