The therapy session was great! He was very understanding and let me explain my feelings, so that was really sweet of him.
But then! Just when I thought it was over! My mom swooped in and started asking me stuff. She wanted to know what we had been talking about and all that.
Aaaand I accidentally told her I thought I was Ace.

Well, she actually was kind of ok with it. I think she was just worried I liked girls or something (she's very homophobic) so there's that.
But she kept telling me that I could just be a late bloomer, or that I just haven't met the right person yet.
I don't know, she wasn't angry, so that was good, but I could tell she didn't think I was actually ace. It made me feel a little invalidated.
But other than that it went good!

but I'm glad it went well with your therapist, even if you accidentally came out to your mom
I do think she'll come around though
I feel like it was a lot easier for me myself to accept that I was ace than bi
I don't know why tho

Yeah, it was kind of really unexpected, she was just like "TELL ME ALL YOUR THERAPY SECRETS!"
And I was like "AAHH, I'M ACE!"
So that was fun. :)

OH NO I LIED I HAVE ONE
Like a year ago, for pride month, she asked me to make her a friendship bracelet (bc I'm a boss at friendship bracelets lol, or used to be… kinda dropped the hobby lol) in the ace pride colors
and so I did
and she promised me a custom sticker in return
anD SHE HAS NOT GIVEN IT TO ME YET
and then like 20 minutes to midnight last night, I was like… about to fall totally asleep but then I just
sit up
bc I realized she still hasn't given it to me and I haven't asked about it for a few months
