Lillian sighed. She pinched his nose as she pressed the tissue next to his nostrils, "Don't you dare."

She paused, thinking for a moment, then shaking the thought away. "Anyway, my turn." She chewed on her lip, what could she ask? "What happened to your dad? You never talk about him." That's a bold question. That's extremely daring.

"I don't have a dad," He lied… well not a lie by his definition of a dad but he had never told anyone about… that…

"That's bullshit but okay." She muttered under her breath. "Your turn then."

Darren snickered as he held back bigger bouts of laughter. "Dare what?"

Ryan sighed… he hated lying to her anyways, "You really want to know?"

Lillian scowled, "You know what."

"I do. It's why I asked."

(Okay, just a random insert, I pause my music and get up to get my water bottle on the other side of my room and then I pause and listen and my house is dead silent. I start to freak out until I realize that it's quiet because everyone else is asleep. Oops! I literally nearly called the police because I thought someone kidnapped my family.)

"Don't laugh," He said holding his breath. His hand played with the belt line of his pants, "You broke be,"

Lillian laughed and took then tissue away and replaced it, "It's never happened before."

"I do. It's why I asked."

"I had 3 siblings, out of all of them, I was my dad's favorite. We moved into a new house and my other siblings had to share a room while I got the master bedroom. I was the only one who went to private school and the only one truly loved. He bought me a car when I was 9 because he said I was a man. He also said I was a man when he raped and molested me before bed on an almost nightly basis and made me do similar things to my younger sibling." He was shaking and that wasn't even the full story but that's all she needed to know. Anything else might concern her a bit.

She took the tissue away, "Looks like the bleedings stopped already."

She gasped. not in surprise from the horror, but from surprise in the similarity to her own childhood. The memories slapped her, forcing their way into her head. "A good girl listens to daddy." She whispered. "A good girl won't tell mommy." It was the phrase her father said every night before he started the torture that ruined her.

Lillian made a face, "Okay so it's not the first time."

"BLEEDING!" He shouted, "Take me to da hospital I got the blooding!"

Lillian sighed, “Your nose. Your nose stopped bleeding. You don’t have a bloosy nose.”

She looked at the kitchen, “God I need some alcohol.”

“I think you need some weed!” Darren followed her but slipped in the kitchen floor. He just lay there defeat.

Her wings circled around her tightly, leaving her alone in a cage. Her feathers slowly dyed a dark, stormy blue. Fear. It was like a mood ring. Right now, she was terrified.

Lillian pulled him up, she looked at him, “Do you have some?”

Ryan stroked her wing, really happy he didn't tell her the rest, "It's okay,"

She was curled up in a ball. "No it isn't. When has it ever been okay?" Her voice was shaky.

Lillian pulled him up, she looked at him, “Do you have some?”

"Woah! Someone needs a fix! Loosen up pretty one. RyRy will come through by tomorrow or the day after. He never leaveses meh hangin' for long,"

She was curled up in a ball. "No it isn't. When has it ever been okay?" Her voice was shaky.

"It's better than okay right now, you're with me and a beautiful view."

Lillian chuckled, “We are so getting high together deal?”

The blue color dyed lighter. A nice bright blue. Curiosity. Her wings unfurled and she looked out, forcing the memories back into their cage. She took a deep breath. "I suppose you're right." She smiled and her wings returned to their natural gray.

Lillian chuckled, “We are so getting high together deal?”

"Deal, but I might die before then… I mean today was like a lucky toss up and I have surgery this week ssooooooo! DRUGS!"

Lillian smiled, “Deal. Now let’s get you back to the couch.”
