Lillian looked at him, "Are you sure?"

No. “Yes,” Darren put his hands on his head, mentally screaming.

Lillian closed her eyes and yawned, "If I go back to sleep will you do the thing that will help you?"

Her wings fluttered a small bit in satisfaction. She loved little stuff like this. Just errand trips turned into something cute and romantic.

“This is amazing but if I don’t get that blood into a fridge. Ya know?”

She pouted. "Awww but I want to just stay up here. Hold on, I got it." She snapped and with a small poof the blood bags disappeared. "There. In the fridge. You're welcome I'm so awesome."

Ryan sighed, “Perfect!”

"I mean, if you want to go back, we can, I won't force you to stay up here."

“No I like it up here, especially with you. It’s just—“ he clamped his mouth shut.

Lillian closed her eyes and yawned, "If I go back to sleep will you do the thing that will help you?"

“Probably not,” he grimaced. “Mostly because I don’t want you to leave me for the land of sleep,”

"It's just?" She motioned for him to continue.

Lillian opened her eyes back up to look at him, "Oh really? You would rather me be awake, than you not be in pain."

"It's just?" She motioned for him to continue.

“Nothing,” he looked around again.

“I’ll do whatever you want just don’t sleep until it’s time,” he begged. He hated being alone sometimes.

She bit her lip. Something was clearly off but she really didn't want to push it. She glanced around herself. "What do you keep looking for? You keep glancing over your shoulder like someone's going to attack you."

“I’ll do whatever you want just don’t sleep until it’s time,” he begged. He hated being alone sometimes.

Lillian laughed and smiled at him, "Fine. Then go do what you need to, to not be in pain. Please."

She bit her lip. Something was clearly off but she really didn't want to push it. She glanced around herself. "What do you keep looking for? You keep glancing over your shoulder like someone's going to attack you."

“He never just comes and then leaves so easily. He always comes back,”

"Really? Why? If you don't mind me asking. He did say he was busy."

“Fine but you have to come with because I swear to god if you fall asleep.” Darren took her hand to pull her up.

"Really? Why? If you don't mind me asking. He did say he was busy."

“Every time we find each other, he lingers. We went to Augustine together and he just… he stays. He always comes back to me,”

She couldn't hold back her laughter. "I can't believe it. We found your Cooper. I can't even right now."

Lillian took his hand on got up off the couch. She was still laughing, "Of course."

"You're right, it's not funny. It's hilarious." She was nearly doubled over she was laughing so hard.

Lillian took his hand on got up off the couch. She was still laughing, "Of course."

“I ask you sit out side he room until I’m done. I would share but I’m running low. I have to wait for Ry— a friend to get more,”

Lillian raised an eyebrow, "Okay. By the way it's Ryan isn't it. You keep almost saying his name."
