Dylan walked over to the other side of the cave and laid down, falling asleep immediately.

Leon laid down in a corner and fell asleep almost immediately.

The next morning, Dylan stood up and walked to the entrance of the cave.

Leon woke up, and hugged Dylan from behind, "You ready to go?"

Dylan stiffened slightly when Leon hugged her, then relaxed and smiled when she realized that it was him. "Yes. And you?" She asked, leaning into the hug.

He pecked on the cheek and rested his head on her shoulder, "Now I am."

A soft laugh left Dylan's lips. "Good. Because getting there is on foot is going to take a while."

He let go of her and gathered their stuff, which was only the apples and pears they picked yesterday, "I already know that."

Dylan rolled her eyes. "Yes, I know that you know that." She answered as she stared walking outside to grab something she had left at the creek.

He followed her and bowed down, "Lead the way, Princess." He said, fighting back a grin.

Dylan snickered as she grabbed the small satchel. "I have a name you know." She joked.

"But you're still the princess." He said with a slight laugh.

"Sure, but that doesn't mean that you have to keep calling me that." She answered with a smile as they started walking. Secretly she liked the nickname.

"Well I'm your guard so I am supposed to call you Princess." He said as he followed her.

Dylan shook her head. "Okay then."

Dylan looked up at the large castle in front of them. "Wow, we got here sooner than I thought."

"Yep. So, ready to talk to the king?" He said as he admired the castle.

Dylan nodded. "Just follow me." She said as she started towards the gates.

"Okay then." He nodded and quietly followed her.

As they walked into the castle, Dylan was greeted warmly and cheerfully by many people. Suddenly Dylan was nearly bowled over by two tiny figures. "DYLAN!!" The ten year old prince and princess of the kingdom cried as they hugged her. Dylan laughed. "Hey guys." She said as she hugged them back.

Leon quietly, and awkwardly, stood there as he looked around the castle.

Dylan pulled away from the two. "Hey, I need to talk with your father. Is he around"?" She asked the two."
The princess, Gabriella, nodded. "He's with Emilia and Anthony in the throne room."

Leon kept looking around the castle, admiring the castle.

Dylan nodded. "Thank you, Gabriella and Grayson." The two nodded.
"Wait, who's that?" Grayson asked, pointing at Leon.
"Oh this is Leon, my bodyguard." Dylsn answered.

He looked at the three of them when he heard his name and waved at them, "Nice to meet you, Your Highnesses." He said as he bowed down.

Gabriella giggled. "You don't have to bow." She said to Leon.
"Nice to meet you as well Leon." Grayson interrupted his sister.
Dylan rolled her eyes. "Come on Leon."
"Ooh can we come with you?" Gabriella asked.
"Uh…sure why not." Dylan answered. The two giggled in delight and ran ahead of Dylan and Leon.

"I have no clue what to do." He whispered to Dylan as he quietly followed them, "You gonna come or not?"

Dylan rolled her eyes. "Yes, Lord Awkward, I'm coming." She answered as she caught up to him.

Leon rolled his eyes, "I'm not the one that's royalty here, it's you, Gabriella, and Grayson."
