She walked inside, nearly being knocked backward by the wall of perfume that slapped her face when she opened the door. "Why hello dear! What can I do for you?" "Um, I would like a bouquet of flowers." "Sure thing, what flowers?" This part Belle had memorized. "Orange and black roses, white lilies, red azaleas, and some baby's breath just for variation." The roses were Jazzi's favorite flowers in her favorite colors of roses, lilies in Germany were used for funerals, and the azaleas were the flowers she'd planted in her garden that she'd made to add some color. The baby's breath was just a creative choice.
Ryan nodded, clearly she had done this a few times but he wasn't surprised. He did it too. Darren did it. It was normal.
"Alright, here you go, miss. That'll be $8.75." Belle handed her the money and walked out. "Thank you!" "You're welcome dear!" She hugged the flowers close to her chest and sniffed deeply. Just the scent alone reminded her of Jazzi.
Lillian chuckled slightly her eyes filled with affirmation, "Not really."

"Is that all you needed?" Ryan asked softly.
Lillian chuckled slightly her eyes filled with affirmation, "Not really."
Darren nodded, he hesitated, lingering while he stared at her before kissing her again.
She nodded. "That's it. Like I said, she never liked anything too fancy."
Lillian smiled as she kissed him back.
"Understood," Ryan got in the vehicle, "So where are we going?"
"Don't know. Where do you want to go?"
Lillian smiled as she kissed him back.
Darren was happy, the familiarity gave him a sense of comfort, he wasn't scared. Not until he suddenly pulled out of the kiss, memories flashed through his head, it hurt.
"Don't know. Where do you want to go?"
"Wait, you just keep the flowers? You don't put them anywhere?" Ryan always put his sister's flowers at her grave and his mothers at the river under the tree.
Lillian looked at him with concern filled eyes, "Are you okay?"
"The anniversary isn't for another few days! I'll put it on her grave then. I always get the flowers a few days before so I don't forget."
Darren nodded as he put the heel of his hand to his forehead, "Yeah," He groaned, "Memories and headaches,"
"The anniversary isn't for another few days! I'll put it on her grave then. I always get the flowers a few days before so I don't forget."
Ryan nodded with slight confusion but just went with it… Wasn't really his place to pry.
Lillian hesitantly asked, "What do you remember?"
She stayed quiet about it. The thing was, Jasmine didn't have a grave. Her father had her cremated then sprinkled her ashes in the stream by the house where she had a small garden. What she was going to do with the flowers was plant them in the garden and tend for the other flowers there, knowing that's what Jasmine would've wanted.
"Lots of things," He winced, "You had cuts on your back at school… Words, I took you to the hospital, I really hate waiting rooms. Paige, I couldn't save her, I should have tried harder I could have saved her, I'm so selfish. Rachel, I kissed her, well she kissed me and I kissed her back instinctually. She kidnapped you to get Shaxx and Balthazar…." He tried to keep going but he broke down at the part about page and his sobs only continued from there.

"You know a few days from now is when Darren and Cooper's mom died too… How weird if it would be on the same day,"
Lillian let out a shaky breath. So he was back up to now. She pulled him close to her in a large enveloping hug. Trying to show she cared for him. The tears were in her eyes, but she tried to stay strong.
(I legit had to do actual math to figure out where we are. Assuming the family is staying a week and leaving the day after Thanksgiving and it's the second or third day they're here, it should be the 17th or 18th. So it makes sense. MATH. I HATE IT BUT I'M SO GOOD AT IT.)
"Really? November 20th?"
"Oh no… November 22nd if I remember correctly. I think she died on Thanksgiving,"
"Oh, that's so sad. No, Jazzi died a few days before Thanksgiving. Worst Thanksgiving ever."

"You know about my drugs," He laughed through tears just trying to lighten the mood.
"Oh, that's so sad. No, Jazzi died a few days before Thanksgiving. Worst Thanksgiving ever."
"Yeah," Ryan had no intentions of sharing his death dates with anyone.
Lillian laughed, "Yeah you druggie."
"Okay, enough about death. Where are we going next on our little adventure?"
Lillian laughed, "Yeah you druggie."
"I'm very self conscious about my drug use,"
"Okay, enough about death. Where are we going next on our little adventure?"
"I actually don't know… Are we joining Darren and his family for Thanksgiving?" Ryan had Thanksgiving with the Anderson's since his mom died.
