"Oh," Evie replied, nodding. She wasn't sure what to say.
"Oh," Evie replied, nodding. She wasn't sure what to say.
"Lemme pull it out." He dug through his backpack. "Snickers?"
"N-No thanks," Evie said. She clenched her fingers into fists. No, don't ruin this one.
"Okay then." He took a bite out of it and kept digging. "There it is!"
Trails of power trickled from between her fingers. She was holding her breath and didn't realize it. Come on, come on, no no no! There wasn't a muscle in her body that wasn't tense.
Ferran looked up, smiling, but it soon dropped. "Are you okay?"
Evie's eyes flickered from their natural golden to blood red. She breathed again, heavily and quickly. Most of the kids in the room had turned to stare at her. Her eyes filled with tears, and she whispered, "No" before standing up and running quickly out of the room. You screwed up everything.
Ferran stared as she bolted from the room. "Evie?"
She ducked into the nearest crevice and buried her head in her arms. The power drained from her fingertips and her eyes returned to normal. She cried quietly, just like she was used to.
Ferran frowned. Should I follow her?
Alice looked in confusion at the girl running out and decided to go after her even if she didn't know her. "Um hello, Evie?" Alice called out as she chased after her.
Evie looked up quickly and wiped at her face. She hazily recognized the girl as another first year.
"Are, are you ok?" Alice asked in concern.
"Now I am. I… I don't know what happened back there." How easily lies can slip off the tongue…
Alice knew that the girl was lying, but she decided not to push. "Your power is telekinesis right?" She asked as she turned to face her.
(Oof, Lmao, I missed a lot)
(Eh, not really that much. When did you last post?)

(We've been… kind of slow, so maybe a little. Can you find your last post?)
Alice knew that the girl was lying, but she decided not to push. "Your power is telekinesis right?" She asked as she turned to face her.
"Yeah," Evie whispered, still wiping at her face.

Alice paused for a minute, trying to think of something to say. "I don't get what I saw back there, can you maybe explain it?" Alice asked, trying to understand.
"My… my powers sometimes take control of me to the point where I have no control. It happens when I'm angry, upset, sad, or… nervous," Evie said, her voice wavering slightly at nervous.
Alice nodded, processing the information. "So like do you mean someones like talking your mind because I thought you know you can control stuff with your mind."
"That's pretty interesting." Alice commented. "Maybe I can make you a stress ball or something."
"I'm not exactly sure that would work, but you're welcome to try."
"Well, what do you find calming?" Alice asked as she thought up lots of things that could work.
"Uh… this might sound weird… but I really like music and yoga," Evie murmured, twirling her fingers to send her power spiraling into the air, where it burst apart and rained down like snowflakes.
"Actually, it's not weird at all really," Alice said as she jotted down some notes in her head. "Yeah, ok I know what to make you."
"What?" Evie questioned, catching a flake on her palm.
