“I am not lanky!” Erikos huffed. “Look, just because my muscle is more streamlined doesn’t mean it’s not there.” Just to prove a point Erikos lifted up his shirt to show his six pack
Cade averted his eyes immediately. "Oh my god, Erikos, put your shirt down and just get in the elevator please."
“Ha! Even he thinks it’s a hot six pack,” Erikos said triumphantly before hopping in the elevator. He gave Kaden a smug look before folding his arms
"There is nothing hot about…that," Beau joked, motioning to all of Erikos as he crossed his arms over his chest loosely, a small grin crossing his face. "I'm just lanky overall."
Cade covered his face, embarrassed. "Let's just drop our stuff off," he said, waiting until everybody was in the elevator before pushing the button for the floor they were on.
"Better put that shirt down before i drag you into a broom closet." Kaden smirked at him. "And don't think I won't."
Erikos felt his face heat up, but he ignored it as he flipped Beau off. “You’re just mad you don’t have any muscle. You’re just a twig,” he teased
"Ah ah ah, don't be naughty. Other wise I'll have to punish you." Kaden' s eyes glinted.
"Beau has muscle," Cade said, trying desperately to ignore what Kaden had just said. He couldn't wait to get out of that elevator.
"I am a twig, and I flaunt it proudly," Beau answered, posing in the elevator as a small grin spread across his face, flipping Erikos off in response. He glanced over at Cade, laughing softly when they covered their face. "God, now we're making Cadey uncomfortable."
“Oh boy, look at that! The elevator has stopped!” Erikos shouted theatrically before all but running out of the elevator. He was absolutely red in the face and was not keen on letting anyone see him flustered
Cade laughed, relieved that he could get away from the flirting and tension between Erikos and Kaden.
Kaden laughed after him. He picked up the bags and followed him down the hallway, smirking all the way.
"Finally, I really didn't need to see more of that," Beau chuckled, walking out after Cade as he motioned towards Kaden and Erikos. He really didn't want to see what would happen with the two at the casino, but hey, it would be pretty entertaining to watch them awkwardly flirt.
"Me neither," he said, letting himself relax. He drained the rest of the water bottle and tossed it in a trash. "So who am I rooming with?" He asked, looking around at the others.
“I can hear you laughing!” Erikos called behind himself. He eventually reached the rooms, fiddling with his pockets as he tugged the room keys out. “Cade, Beau, these are yours. You’re in the room to our right,” he said before handing them their keys. “Roxy, you’re on their right,” he said as he handed her the card. “And this one’s for biceps,” he said, not looking at Kaden as he handed him the card
She gave him a thumbs up
"Looks like those two are going to room…" Beau began, shooting Kaden and Erikos an unreadable look before looking back towards Cade. "You can room with me?" He proposed, shifting the bag on his back so it wouldn't be weighing down on his right shoulder.
"Yeah, that sounds good," he said, smiling a bit and taking the key from Erikos. "I can take the couch if you want."
Kaden snorted and took the card from Erikos. He unlocked their hotel room and walked in. He set down the bags on his hand. "Bed or couch?"
"No, no, take the bed, Cade. It's much more comfortable," Beau answered, protesting gently, not wanting to force Cade to sleep on the couch as he began to step towards their room's door. "Trust me, I would know. I literally live on my couch at home." He added, trying for a small half-smile.
"Yeah, but I want you to be comfortable," Cade said. He unlocked the door and walked in, setting his stuff down. "Besides, I'll probably be at the pool most of the night, so I probably won't sleep much."
“Couch,” Erikos said with a small huff. He took his bag from Kaden before flopping down on the couch. Doing so caused his loose t-shirt to ride up on his stomach again, but he didn’t appear to notice or care
Kaden flopped down on the bed. "When do you want to head over to the casino?" He put his bicep over his eyes.
"Yeah, but I want you to be comfortable," Cade said. He unlocked the door and walked in, setting his stuff down. "Besides, I'll probably be at the pool most of the night, so I probably won't sleep much."
"You sure?" Beau asked, setting his bag down on the floor as he stretched a bit, running a hand through his messy hair. The hotel room was quite nice, and he just wanted to sleep at this point and skip the casino.
“Probably now since Cade wanted me to grab him burgers,” Erikos said. He yawned a little, stretching as he let his disguises form fall away to show his fins and claws. He rubbed a little at his antlers, which were sore from being hidden for so long. “Have I mentioned I hate hiding from humans?” he complained
"Yeah, I'm sure," he said, yawning and stretching. "I'm gonna get changed now and head down to the pool, you can come with me or stay here, whichever you want."
"I'll come down. Might skip on the 'Kaden-and-Erikos-I'm-Very-Drunk-And-Want-To-Kiss-You' show tonight," Beau answered, nodding in addition to his response as he sat down on the edge of the bed next to him.
Cade laughed. "Yeah, I think I'll pass on that too."
"Only about a couple dozen times." He snorted. He sat up. "You truly are shark boy." He rolled off the bed and pulled off his shirt. He had a few tattoos glittering around his torso.
