Brendon was scared. Very scared. Of Blaine. Was this a first? Probably. Was this a last? Probably not.
Brendon was scared. Very scared. Of Blaine. Was this a first? Probably. Was this a last? Probably not.
Venus looked up with wide eyes filled with tears. "R-Really?"
Blaine's eyes flashed from Venus to Brendon and back again. She blinked, seeing their expressions, and took another deep breath, closing her eyes again.
"No. I'm not really going to kill her," she whispered. Opening her eyes, they were soft, almost hurt looking. "I'm sorry. I just– Sorry."
She looked between the two again, then started to back away slowly. Turning around, she hurried to a private part of the house and sat down with her back against the wall. Blaine pulled her knees to her chest and tried to settle her breathing.
I scared them… They were scared of me…
Venus walked after Blaine, hoping Brendon wouldn't follow. "Blaine? Are you okay?"
Brendon didn't follow figuring he had caused some of this new damage. He walked the other way feeling ashamed of himself.
"Just leave me alone," Blaine mumbled, her face in her knees. "I've done enough."
"No," Venus said firmly. Her anger went from wet to dry in an instant. "No. You've done nothing wrong, Blaine. Okay? It's all Hannah's fault, okay? And we'll get her back."
Blaine shook her head, her face still in her knees. "I just need some time alone. Sorry…"
If she was being honest with herself, she was glad at least someone had come after her; although, she was a little disappointed that it wasn't Bredon. Had she really scared him that much?
(Brendon is like: Crapppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp. I shouldn't have done that.)
Brendon was sitting outside the haunted house his elbows resting on his knees. Hands together while his head hung. Why did he get so scared? It was just Blaine! He let out a long sigh, he really messed up.
(Lol. Poor Brain…)
(Poor poor Brain.)
Venus' shoulders drooped slightly. She could tell that Blaine wanted to see Brendon. Slowly, Venus backed away and went over to Brendon. "Go see Blaine."
Brendon looked up at Venus, he got up and nodded. Walking back inside the haunted house and up to Blaine, "Um. Hi Blaine. Sorry."
Blaine's head shot up at Brendon's voice. She hadn't expected him to come…
"O-oh. Um, hey," she said softly. "You– You don't have anything to be sorry for. If anything, I do…"
"No, I should apologize. I got scared when I shouldn't have," he gave her a soft smile, "You doing okay?"
Venus sat down where Brendon had just been and buried her face in her hands sadly.
"Ciao, mia regina."
Venus jolted her head up. "Marco?" Her ex's handsome face smiled down at her. "What are you doing here?"
"I found out that you work here, and I had to see for myself. Then…" He extended his hand out to her, which she took, and pulled her to his chest, "I saw mia regina sad, so I had to comfort her."
Venus smiled, not thinking of the consequences of him being here. "Mio principe," she murmured without thinking. My prince.
"You had a reason to be afraid. I kinda lost control of my anger for a while. I'm sorry I scared you," Blaine whispered, not meeting his eyes.
(Oh no she didn't!!!
Venus…)
Brendon lifted her face so their eyes would meet, "It's fine Blaine. I shouldn't have gotten so scared, I've just never seen you like that. To be honest it was kind of hot."
(Look whose baaaaaaaaack!)
Marco smiled. "I'm glad that we still have each other, V." He moved so that his lips brushed her ear as he spoke. "I don't know what I would do without you." A rush of shivers dripped down her spine.
(Nooooo!!!
Ship-sinker.)
Blaine blushed and laughed, gently pushing him. "Shut up," she chuckled, shaking her head. "It so was not."
Brendon was laughing as he bumped her back, "It so was. And the way the lights flickered at the same time, creepy, but it made the whole thing hotter."
(Sly is gonna freak… BRAIN, SAVE VENDER!)
Venus pulled away a little. "I'm with Ender now, Marco."
"But where is he when you are sad?"
(Brain is preoccupied being cute and fluffy.)
"Oh my gosh, just shut up," Blaine laughed. "It made me look like a witch or something. That is not hot."
(Yes, because someone must.)
"Maybe I like witches," Brendon said with a smirk before laughing, "God that sounded weird."
(Just… happen to wonder outside!)
Venus hated herself for thinking it, but she did. Marco's right.
"See? I will always be here for you, my queen." He kissed her cheeks, both of which came dangerously close tho her lips. He looked at her with a sly smile.
"Well, I'm not a witch," Blaine said, smiling. "Sorry to disappoint."
"Oh no your better," Brendon smiled at her, "I would rather you than a witch any day."
(…I'm somewhat interested in seeing where this goes, though…)
"Oh no your better," Brendon smiled at her, "I would rather you than a witch any day."
Blaine rolled her eyes. "Well, then… I'm flattered, I guess?"
