She shook her head and shivered. "Deep waters…just no."
She shook her head and shivered. "Deep waters…just no."
Lillian watched as he disappeared under the water. She floated on her back with her arms stretched out.
She shook her head and shivered. "Deep waters…just no."
"What?! Are you afraid?"
"Yes! I am! I thought I told you this already."
Lillian watched as he disappeared under the water. She floated on her back with her arms stretched out.
Darren came up behind her and kissed her neck, "Boo!"
"Yes! I am! I thought I told you this already."
"What if I carry you or put you on my back or something?"
"Hmm. Fine. But if you drop me and I drown I am so coming back to haunt you."
Lillian shrieked as her arms flailed and she started to sink in the water. She popped back up scowling.
"Hmm. Fine. But if you drop me and I drown I am so coming back to haunt you."
He gasped, "I would never!"
Lillian shrieked as her arms flailed and she started to sink in the water. She popped back up scowling.
Darren wheezed as he laughed, "I got you good!"
She laughed. "Weirdo."
Ryan picked her up and started walked deeper and deeper, being careful about his footing so she wouldn't go under.
She let her fingers graze the surface of the water, creating small ripples.
"See, it's not so bad," Ryan smiled.
"Not so bad because I'm not the one who's carrying a girl who's freaked out by deep water."
Ryan kissed her forehead, "The water is nice,"
"Not when you're drowning and can't reach the surface in time because you're too far down."
Ryan chuckled, "Whatever,"
She smiled. "But I suppose it is nicer when you have another person to share it with."
"Just like… any person? Because I know more than one person who would do this for you,"
She laughed. "Let me rephrase that. I suppose it's nicer when you have a significant other to share it with. I'm all inclusive with gender here!"
"I hope that wasn't directed towards me," Ryan joked.
She looked up at him with a smile and quirked eyebrow. "Seriously?"
"No, not seriously… I was making a joke of my sexuality," He squinted at her before kissing her.
"Don't judge me! I like to be inclusive." She giggled.
"I feel included," He smiled.
"You should." Her fingers swirled patterns just under the surface of the water.
Ryan continued to walk, the water was up to his chest so he stopped. He didn't want to freak her out.
She had calmed down, looking out at the horizon. "Anyone passing by that sees us probably thinks we're freaks." She smiled.
"Baby we are freaks. Imma big puppy and you're a demon/angel hybrid,"
