"Oh I'm sorry." Tyson frowned. "Again?"
"Oh I'm sorry." Tyson frowned. "Again?"
"Yeah." She looked down at the floor and frowned.
Tyson smiled again. "Do you wanna go to my room?"
"Tyson who is at the door?" Olivia yelled from the kitchen
Sabella brightened and gave Tyson a big toothy grin. "Obviously."
"Sabella!" Tyson answered.
"It's me!" She threw her arms out and accidentally smacked Tyson in the face. "Are you okay?" she asked, peals of laughter escaping from her lips.
"Yeah I'm fine." Tyson giggled as he rubbed his nose. "Let's go!"
"Did you get the goods?" She asked as soon as she was in his room, whipping around, an almost comical serious expression on her face.
"Yes." He grabbed his backpack and unzipped it.
"Great." She grabbed the package and opened the box carefully. "We're getting equal shares."
"Yeah. I don't want you taking more than your share like last time."
"That is not fair, they are delicious and they deserve to be eaten by only the best."
"Excuse you but I'm just as good as you."
"I know, better actually." Sabella grabbed a macaron and took a bite.
Tyson stuffed one in his pocket. "For later."
"If you don't eat that, I will." She grabbed another one. "Tyson, I'm spending the night again."
"Again?" Tyson looked up. "Oh Ella I'm so sorry."
"Eh, things at home'll calm down soon. Mom's in rehab again, so after a week, things should be as normal as they'll ever be." Sabella bit down on another macaron.
Tyson munched on his own. "Do you want to sleep in my bed? I can sleep on thew floor…"
"Nah, it's fine, my sleeping bag's still here, right? Besides, dad's usually drunk at night, so he won't notice that I'm gone." She wrapped her arms around Tyson and buried her head on his shoulder. "You're a great friend, Ty."
"Thank you. You're a great friend too." He hugged her. "I'd have to dig through the closet to get your sleeping bag…"
"I'll help." She slept at Tyson's house a lot, but on nights she couldn't, she would go on top of the roof of her apartment complex and watch the stars until morning.
"You have just volunteered for an excavation."
Sabella laughed, "I'll do it anyway."
Tyson smiled and got up. "After that do you wanna watch something?"
"I love movies." She stood up as well, clasping her hands behind her back. With movies, it was so easy for the real world to melt away. It was just her and Tyson on that couch, watching Marty Mcfly try to get his parents back together, forgetting that reality existed, forgetting that her father was always drunk and her mother was always on drugs and they were only able to pay rent because of her grandmother who sent money in from her place, thousands of miles away.
(Dude
That's tragic ;~;)
Tyson clapped his hands. 'Good! Let's tackle the closet first."
(Oof, idkwtd)
(I love tragic)
"Yes! Let me play some music." Sabella grabbed her ipod and put on "I'll make a man out of you" and cracked her knuckles, "Let's get down to business."
