Lillian walked away from Cooper, "Yeah Cooper's literally a mess right now. Something about a kiss and an 'I love you'?"

She cringed. "Yeah…about that…"

"Yeah?" Lillian patiently asked.

"One second." She quickly got up and stepped outside. "Okay, so, I know this is going to sound crazy but hear me out. The kiss was a goodbye kiss. Something to finally seal off our past and have a blank slate for a future. And I do love him…but not like that. I love him like a brother. We used to be so close he was basically family."

Lillian nodded in understanding, "Okay. I'll definitely tell him that. He was pretty confused about it you know."

"I know, I should've explained while I was there but I couldn't bring myself to stay long enough to do it."

Lillian smiled, "Probably should have. But I understand why you couldn't."

Darren looked at Lillian with a worried expression.

She sighed. "Why is love so damn difficult."

Lillian laughed, "Oh why is that so very true. That's all Belle. I'll talk to you later."

"Alright. Bye Lillian." She hung up and walked back inside, feeling slightly better.

Ryan looked up, "What was there?"

Darren looked at Lillian expectantly.

Lillian put the phone away and handed it to Cooper. She let out a small sigh, "It was a goodbye kiss Coop. She loves you like a brother."

"Lillian wanted to ask me something personal that I don't like talking about in front of other people without context so I stepped outside. It's nothing you need to worry about."

Darren's eyes grew a little wider as he almost ran to Cooper. Cooper just looked at Lillian, his face wiped of all emotion, just a robot.

Ryan nodded, "Fine by me,"

"Lovely." She sat back down and kissed his cheek. "I love you."

Lillian looked down and away, "Sorry."

Darren sat down next to Cooper who looked at him with his robotic expression, "Make me forget,"
"Coop, no. You don't want that,"
"I don't want to remember, you can compel her away. Please." Cooper begged for his brother to use his power.

"Lovely." She sat back down and kissed his cheek. "I love you."

"Love you too,"

"Well, looks like we missed the movie. What do you want to do now?"

Darren sat down next to Cooper who looked at him with his robotic expression, "Make me forget,"

"I don't want to remember, you can compel her away. Please." Cooper begged for his brother to use his power.

Lillian sat on the other side, "Cooper don't. You shouldn't have to forget her."

Ryan shrugged, "I don't know,"

"I don't know either. I suppose we'll just sit here until one of us thinks of something then."

"I don't want to remember her, I'm stuck." the tears came back, "She doesn't love me and I can't just move on like a normal person. It physically hurts me!"

"I don't know either. I suppose we'll just sit here until one of us thinks of something then."

Ryan chuckled, "That seems like a terrible plan…"

Lillian frowned, "But forgetting her won't make the pain go away. It'll only make it worse."
