Joan could see the wings progress once she had covered in in a healthy layer. "So?" She asked again.

"I think it was foolish, yes, but that's how we learn."

Nathaniel certainly felt something different in his wings, though he was afraid to look back and see. The pain distracted him from his surroundings.

Joan circled around to see his face. "Hey, look at me, that's how we learn. Tell me something about you."

Nathaniel looked up at Joan. "Well, I live with my parents, Tobias and Christina. My friend who helped me get down here is called Patience."

"Nash, tell me something else about you."

"Something else," Joan wanted to distract him badly.

Lucas looked over the smoking battle field with disgust.Thousands of rotting corpses and broken armor covered the bleak field.Out of the corner of his eye he saw a lone angel and smiled , with inhumane speed and strength he leapt over to it and before it had a chance to react it's head was on the ground

Faray looks at the Demons. "Rules for traveling with me. Keep your eyes and mouth shut. Hold your breath. Whatever the hell else you may do, remember this. Do. Not. Let. Go. Do we understand each other?" Telling them the rules will probably incite their curiosity about where they are traveling, and if they care that much, Faray will tell them once they arrive.

Lucas smiled at the creatures head and whispered "another one bites the dust"

Will nodded. "Where do I hold onto? Your hand?"

"Like what?" Nathaniel couldn't think about anything too significant about him, except… how he managed to injure his wings so badly that they were rendered incapable of flight

"Where are you staying? What's your last name? Why where you fighting?" Joan spammed him questions.

"Um, I live in Heaven, my last name is Windsor, and I was fighting to prove myself a worthy warrior despite the fact I can't fly? Which failed, obviously…"

"Hand preferably, shoulder if you must." Faray responds, pleased that someone had the common sense to ask.

Oh, Joan thought he lived on Earth… "You're done." She said. The cream had set and dissolved into his wings. Fixing it. "Try not to fly for the next three hours, mm'k?"

"No problem, I've… kind of forgotten how anyways. It's been a long time…"
