"He loves you," Ryan looked like he was processing, "He still loves you after everything,"
"Yeah. You're as shocked as I am. I thought for sure that he'd hate me."
Ryan felt a little bad. “Do you love him?”
"Now? No. I only love one person. And that's you. Hell, when I walked into that house I still hated him."
"You don't hate him right? He did apologize,"
"No, I don't hate him. Not anymore."
"If I wasn't here, theoretically, would you love him?"
"Probably not. Hell I probably would've never gone over there in the first place and would continue to hate him for the rest of my life."
"He needs to be able to move on Belle. He's been in love with you for all this time."
"He really does. But I don't know or want to tell him that. I hate to keep stringing him along like this with him hoping we'll break up or something and he can have me but I'm not really sure what else to do."
"Well, you have my permission, to do whatever you have to do to get it through his thick Anderson skull without me getting jealous or mad. I won't even go with and eavesdrop. You can do what you want to help him understand,"
"But that's the thing, Ryan. I don't know what to do. If I knew then I'd do it but I don't."
"Tell him how you feel, it's going to hurt him but maybe a heartbreak is what he needs to get it through his head. Tell him you don't love him, I don't know. You're stronger than me, he's an Anderson and they have eyes that melt your soul," Ryan sighed.
(Lillian: HELL YEAH THEY DO!)
She sighed too. "Geez, why does love have to be so difficult."
(Yeet! Lol)
"Because you dated an Anderson, do I have to reiterate that they are hot… Things are always complicated with hot guys. You probably dated me to catch a break."
"Okay, first of all, we were never officially dating and second of all, that's not true. I'm dating you because I love your dorky personality. You're adorable. Accept it."
"One, I refuse to accept it. Two, you should talk to him as soon as you can because it pains me to admit this but I feel bad for him. He doesn't deserve to be led on like this,"
"He doesn't. And I know that. But I know that telling him will only break his heart and I hate hurting other people."
"Tell him that you don't hate him, you just don't love him. Are you okay with being friends with him?"
"Yeah I'm fine with that." She sighed, looking down at him. "I have a question."
"Uh, Yeah?"
"When you met me, did you ever think any of this would happen? That the random girl your best friend introduced you to would cause all this? What did you think when you first met me?"
"I thought you were cute actually, I liked you but was going to wait, I had only just met you and had just gotten out of a relationship. The more I heard you talk I realized how alike we were, I loved your attitude and then you asked for guitar lessons and my heart fell apart,"
She smiled and giggled. "Oh yeah I remember that. Those lessons ended up being quite…interesting, to say the least."
"Sex on Darren's couch… Not my highest point," He laughed, "Although you saved me from wallowing in a heartbreak so I am thankful I fell for you."
"Wow way to be blunt about it." She chuckled, her face flushing red. "I'm thankful I fell for you too. I hadn't been that close to anyone since Jasmine died so it saved me from being a lonely little hermit crab."
"We were lonely little hermit crabs together!" He offered a high five.
