"I can't control my anger anymore,"

Her eye was clear, holding an almost innocent shine and for a split second, she was 14 again and they were back to who they were. Just Cooper and Belle. She blinked a few times, clearing the memory. "But you've apologized now. And that's all that matters."

Cooper nodded, it felt like he had moved closer to her, or at least leaned in unconsciously. "Right,"

Her stomach twisted. Was it just her or did he seem closer than before? Nooooo no no no no no you are not going to kiss him. I won't let you. Not happening. Aww, why not? She has a boyfriend! And speaking of which, where is he? I dunno.

Cooper smiled a little, it was only a smirk of joy, nothing more. He leaned in the rest of the way, pushing his lips on hers with a gentle force. The front door opened but he didn't hear it.

She heard it though. Loud and clear. OH SHIT. ABORT ABORT. She pushed him off, a tad bit more violent than intended. "What the hell man? Just because I forgive you doesn't mean you can kiss me!" She wasn't happy. Not only was she upset that he kissed her, but also because if Ryan got the wrong idea then that was going to be another heartbreak by this guy.

Ryan stood in the doorway, staring in shock. He couldn't move, rage filled him.

She was pretty pissed off herself. I TOLD YOU SO. I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN. THIS IS SOME BULLSHIT. OKAY YEAH I GET IT BUT NOW WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT HIM? She glanced at Ryan from the corner of her eye. Please don't attack me. Please don't attack me. Please don't attack me. Please for the love of god don't be that pissed at me.

"What the hell," Was all Ryan could say. He didn't even know who he was directing it to, Belle or Cooper, it was just a general what the hell situation. Cooper looked at him and his old smile grew back.

"Don't ask me. Ask that bitch who decided to fucking kiss me." He hasn't changed at all. Nope. Still the same boy that left us. The manwhore.

Ryan shook his head, clearly hurt, he took a step back and just walked out the door.
"Belle I'm sorry," Cooper tried to make things right, he knew he messed up.

"No. You know what? Don't. I'm done. I tried to forgive you because I thought you were better than this but look what you've done! I can't believe this." She was about to punch someone. "Ryan, wait! Let me explain!" She ran after him.

"Belle please," Coop called after her but she was gone.
"I don't want your excuses, please," Ryan continued walking.

"No! I'm not letting this happen! Just please, let me explain what happened! I didn't kiss him! He kissed me!" She knew it was worthless but she had to try. She could feel her heart cracking, starting to break.

Ryan stopped and took a deep breath before turning around to look at her with tear-filled, broken blue eyes. "Then Explain Belle," He was upset and sounded angry.

She took a deep breath, fighting back her own tears. "You left and we started talking. He said he was sorry for what he did to me and I tried to forgive him because you said he was better than that. But then he kissed me. I did not kiss him." She could feel the heartbreak coming. She knew he wouldn't believe her. "Please believe me." She sank to her knees, tearing up. "I can't lose you…please."

Ryan felt a tear drop from his chin. He knelt down and wrapped his arms around her, "I said I'd never leave you Belle,"

(I'm like actually about to cry. THIS IS WHY I DON'T DO THIS STUFF IT MAKES ME FEEL FOR CHARACTERS THAT DON'T EXIST GODDAMN YOU EMOTIONS.)

She started to cry, pulling herself into his arms. "I can't lose you. I can't. You mean everything to me."

"I know. And I know you're upset but please don't be mad at Cooper," Ryan couldn't believe what he was saying but he knew what was true.

She hiccuped, wiping her tears away. "W-Why shouldn't I? All he's caused me is pain and heartbreak."

"Belle, he loves you," Ryan laughed a little, "He wasn't trying to hurt you," Ryan actually wasn't mad at Cooper, he understood.

"Then why did he leave me? Explain to me that!" The remembered the conversation like it was yesterday. Each time she played it in her head she felt a stab of pain through her heart.

"He's an ass because his life fell apart and he's never gotten the chance pick it back up to fix it. Darren's the same way but he bottles it up,"

She wiped away her remaining tears. "Then we should get back, huh? He's got some explaining to do before I'll forgive him." She worked up a small weak smile.

He stood up an looked at her before kissing her, "You're mine, don't forget that,"
