“…” Saya started forwards, disappearing behind a tree out of view.

Aeron followed, trying to keep close behind.

“Hello,” She said, the scaly creature blending in with the trees, only someone who has seen this breed of dragon before, would know how to find it.

“There’s nothing there, Saya.” Aeron said.

She ignored Aeron’s comment. “Shaila twnaz murikie, we won’t hurt you…”

Aeron stayed quiet and swallowed a little, waiting.

A quick flash of purple rippled across the bright leaves. “Shaila twnaz murikie…”

“What the h-“ Aeron followed his gaze to the purple that had rippled across the ground.

“Shh…” She glared at Aeron. “Twnaz, shanikf norifnubg…”

“Sorry..” He murmured and stayed quiet.

Another flash and she saw the dragon shift. “It’s okay…”

Aeron swallowed.

Saya bent down, holding out her hand. A puff of warm air grazed her skin, she shivered in delight.

Aeron followed and lent down but didn’t hold out his hand, not knowing if it was fine to do so.

Another ripple, this time for a longer period of time. “See… it’s okay…” Scales pressed against her palm.

“Wow..” He said quietly.

A face appeared in front of her, yellow eyes blinking at her. “Talio, fairnuil hiytry vsruv?”

Aeron sat, crossed legged on the ground.

First, Why is he here? The dragon entered her mind and Aeron’s. “Answer the dragon,”

“Wh-I um wanted to know if dragons were real and Saya said she could show me.” He said.

Pfft… Saya smiled at Aeron. Now twnaz Saya… I am fairing quite fine, I am heading off to Shaina…

“What is Shaina?” Aeron asked.

“Dragon Haven, the dragons everywhere else work for gold, Shaina is where they can escape,” Saya explained.

“Sounds like a nice place… think there’s one for human?” He mumbled the last part.

“You wish Aeron,” She laughed. Would you mind accompanying me on my journey?

“Who? Both of us or just her?” He asked, consfused.
