Darren held her tight hoping he was enough to fend of the dreams as he drifted off too.

(Okay)
Lillian could feel the 'dreams' come upon her. But she just stood there smiling in her protective little bubble called Darren. Her body was relaxed.
Darrenâs dreams came too. The room was black but he could see Lillian, he was about to call out to her and relive forgetting but she turned around before he could make a noise.
âCome ooonn Dare, Were going to be late,â
He laughed and walked over, taking her hand. He didnât know where they were going but it didnât matter.
(awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww)
(Sniff. It wasnât supposed to be that cute. OopsâŚ)
(Well it was)
Darren woke up a half an hour later, Cooper still snoring on the recliner.
Lillian was snoring lightly against his chest. Her face was filled with a peaceful sleep.
âCoop⌠Cooper!â He tried to stay quiet in getting his brothers attention.
Lillian moved slightly but quickly returned to her relaxed position.
Darren threw his head back and groaned in irritation. He wasnât tired so he couldnât sleep but everyone else was asleep and he couldnât get up.
Lillian yawned as her eyes slowly opened. She cuddled closer to Darren as her eyes shut again.
âLillian?â He whispered hopefully. He had the sudden urge to pee just because he couldnât get up.
Lillian looked up at him and blinked her eyes a few times, "Mhm?"
He sighed in relief, âYouâre awake,â
Lillian yawned, "I guess. Need to go somewhere?"
âThe bathroom would be nice,â he smiled, âIâm okay,â
Lillian nodded and her head buried itself in his chest again, "Okay. Can I sleep again? Or do I need to let you go?"
Darren sighed, âAre you going back to sleep?â
Lillian yawned again, "Maybe. I'm still really tired."
âIf I wrapped you in a blanket would be be okay with me getting up?â
Lillian nodded as her eyes shut, "Mhm."
Darren picked her up and laid her on the couch, he pulled the blanket from the back of the couch and wrapped it around her before kissing her cheek and running off to the bathroom. He looked in the mirror and sighed as he took his shirt off just to see how much damage was done.
Lillian let out a small sigh as she fell back asleep. The blanket was nice for a nap, but horrible for the nightmares.
Darren got an idea, a risky one but he knew Cooper would help. He threw his shirt back on and did what he went in there for before returning to he living room.
Lillian tried to face down the nightmares. Tried being the key words as she curled into a ball feeling the nightmares push her around. Each one was icy to the touch.
Darren kneeled down next to the cpuch, pushing their foreheads together. âHey, youâre okay,â
Lillian felt her barrier return. She shuddered in relief and her body relaxed.
Darren sat leaning against the couch and rubbed his hand through her hair.
