so innocent, for now, naive Alice is appointed ruler ,the Knave her advisor. maybe you could start with the execution of the queen of hearts, with the coronation happening right after

Almost. Knave assassinates the Queen in a coup, then has to go do something, Alice is crowned in the meantime. Knave is mad, so Jabberwocky strikes a deal with him in the meantime (Jabberwocky is almost like Rumplestiltskin in OUAT, I just realized that).

Alice is thrust into a position she doesn't want, she starts thinking of Peter, cue flashbacks, doesn't want to grow up and be queen? Will you be incorporating your several rivers at some point ?

She's reluctant, but takes the position bc her friends promise her their aid. She's been provided with a way to stay a child forever (I mean… I think I've settled on her age at 13 so uh she's technically a teen), and now wants to help all of WL stay young forever too. I think I'll use some of the rivers for experimentation, some for travel (I have one specifically for that) and others will just be magic sources (eg Meminileth)

ALRIGHT I HAVE ALL 7 RIVERS NAMED

  1. Meminileth- river of insanity (guardian character tbd)
  2. Caligo- river of dark magic (might change to shadow river but who knows)
  3. Meraculis- river of light magic (also open to changing name away from "light magic" to something similar)
  4. Eochaose- don't have a specific "river of" but this is a tumultuous river used mainly for travel. Water is also used in baking summoning crumpets, and teleportation potion-teas
  5. the Border river- border separating WL from Time
  6. The Uncrossable and Unknowable River (literally no data or actual name for this one)
  7. Avidissumuscienta- River of Knowledge (that's a v long name I know)
