Macha stroked the girl’s forehead, turning to give Dani a comforting squeeze.“How old?”, she asked.

Blake backed off a few steps, giving Dani and Macha space.

Peter exhaled a light breath, rubbing his collarbone and looking down. "Are we ever going to that ball…?"

"Yes. Let's go ask Dani if we can go down early or something." Skylar smiled.

Frankie enters after she watches yet another girl (with purple hair.) ran past her. "Hey. I'm new and want some adventure. What's-" She sees the girl crying and stops. "What's going on?"

(I had a snow day today! YAY)

(Wait… Crap. That means that I will be going to school until like, July.)

Blake perked up, looking over at the newcomer. "Hey." He smiled weakly, lifting a wing in greeting.

Frankie stepped back just slightly. HE HAD WINGS! "Name's Francesca. You can call me Frankie!" She stumbles awkwardly and catches herself by grabbing on to Blake. "Uh…"

"Are you alright, Frankie?" Blake caught her, and cleared his throat awkwardly.

"Ok. Let's go then." She walked over to Dani, pulling Peter along with her.

Frankie looks into his eyes and stutters a bit, getting lost in the depth of his irises. She stood and smoothed her dress once more. "Yeah. Erm-I'm alright. Stupid heels."

"Well uhh… I'm Blake. You're a long way from the ball. Are you hurt?" He asked, looking her over with concern.

"Uh no I just saw you guys running so and I didn't really want to be at the ball so I followed you. Sorry. That's invasion of privacy"

Zander entered the room roughshod, he had been running around the entire compound trying to find his way to the group and had finally made his way back here. He put his hands on his head to catch his breath." Has no one… thought to put… a map… in… these hallways."

With a last glance at Dani, Macha, and Lily, Blake remembered his promise to Zander. He probably wouldn't want any strangers staring at his sister. "Want to go back to the ball?" He offered up his hand.

Dani gave a small laugh at Zander's arrival, cheeks still tear-stained. "We have maps on our watches." She told him, holding up her wrist. "You get them when you swear fealty."

Peter's smile slowly revived. "Ready to test your dancing skills?"

She laughed. "Yes! Dani, We're going to the dance! See you soon!" She smiled, turning towards Peter. "Ready?"

"More than ever," he responded readily.

Zander laughed, " So what happened, how did you all end up here?"

"Ok. Let's go then!" She started walking out the door with Peter in tow. "Do you remember how to get there from here?" She asked.

Dani turned to Macha. "To answer your question, Lily is eleven." Then she turned to Zander. "And for you………it's a long and stressful story. I'll tell you at the party, okay?"

"I have no clue." He grinned back carefreely.

"Well I guess we are going on an adventure, then." She laughed, still walking down the twisting hallways
