Lillian let out a small sob as she buried her face against him, "Okay. W-whatever you want. I-I don't want to lose this either."
Lillian let out a small sob as she buried her face against him, "Okay. W-whatever you want. I-I don't want to lose this either."
Darren pulled out of the hug and wiped his face, only smudging the sunset of tear mixed paint across his face. He turned to look at his wall, "I shouldn't have done that," He had an episode so he couldn't really help it but he still felt bad, "I'm going to need to get different… umm… you know?" He snapped his fingers at the wall searching for the word that he forgot.
Lillian thought for a moment before suggesting, "Paint? Methods?"
"Paint! Yeah, I need paint to repaint my walls a normal color," This had been happening to him for awhile but Lillian had been through a lot, he didn't want to worry her.
Lillian frowned slightly as she looked at the wall. She asked quietly, "How long has this been going on?"
"The words?" He sighed, "A month,"
Lillian let out a small sigh, “You should’ve told me Dare. But it’s fine.”
His face had turned pale and ashy in the last few minutes as the spinning returned. "You're right, I should have said something but you had a lot to deal with so I didn't want to burden you any more than I already was."
Lillian hugged him again, not just to hold himbut also to balance him, “You will never be a burden Darren. So please just tell me.”
"Okay," he said quietly, his head felt light, "Can we sit down?"
Lillian nodded and helped him over to the bed, “Of course.”
His hand tremored spastically, he didn't try to hide it like he had before, he didn't care of she knew or not. He sat on the bed relaxing tiredly.
Lillian took his hand and intertwined it with hers. It was her way of saying I accept this part of you. She sat down next to him and said, “I love you.”
He thought for a second, "I love you too," his hand made hers shake too but she didn't seem to mind. "You can go get dinner if you want… They made Coop go to the store,"
Lillian nodded slowly, “I know. I’ll go down when you’re ready. Okay?”
"Okay, we should probably go then, they're probably worried. I had an episode and ran away,"
Lillian smiled as she nodded again, “Okay then let’s go.”
Darren stood up and almost fell over on his unbalanced feet but managed to make it to the door as he grasped the doorway.
Lillian wrapped her good arm around his waist, “I’m here for you baby.”
He leaned into her enough to get them down the stairs, all eyes were looking at them.
"Look who decided to join the party," Linda commented dryly. Darren looked away, embarrassed by her comment.
Lillian didn’t hold back her glare as she said with just a hint of venom, “You try having a brain tumor Linda.”
(Lol… GOD LINDA!)
Darren sat on the couch next to Cooper who ran his hand through Darren's hair that was damp with cold sweat.
Linda rolled her eyes at Lillian's snarkiness.
(GOD! Lol)
Lillian sat on the otherside protectively wrapping an arm around Darren. No one gonna mess with her boy.
"Was he okay?" Cooper asked Lillian as if Darren wasn't sitting next to him. Although his face did show real concern for his brother which was rare for Coop.
Lillian nodded as she rubbed Darren’s hair showing she acknowledged him, “Yeah. He just needed some time that’s all.”
Darren closed his eyes, it helped the spinning and the hand in his hair was reassuring and calming.
Lillian left her hand there as she twirled it in her fingers.
Cooper nodded and put a hand on Darren's let.
Darren leaned back on the couch, he hid his tremoring hand under his leg out of habit, it's what he's been doing for months.
Lillian leaned slightly on him. Not her full weight just a small presence.
