Kata quietly hissed at the newcomer, and thought, try it, that bullet wouldn't even break my skin, But Dani put a hand Kata, stopping her.

Just then, a slimy black octopus-thing dropped down from he ceiling. Macha lunged forward, spear poised, but it dodged, leaping away.

Kata sprung into action narrowly missing the creature with her teeth.

Dani gasped, frozen in her spot. She new that seeing a Black Death would be bad, but she was terrified. Her heart beat quickened and so did her breathing.

The octopus lunged for Dani, using Macha’s spear as a place to bounce off of. Macha didn’t have to think. She jumped towards Dani, shoving her out of the way. The Blavk Deayh landed in her.

Excruciating pain blasted through Macha as she lay prone on the floor, the Black Death wrapping its slimy tentacles around her head and squeezing so that every single one of her worst nightmares cake to life.

Sybil cursed and ran into the room, brandishing a switchblade. Hopefully that would be enough.

Jason, being slowlu stretched until he ripped in two, the ground a heart-wrenching mess if blood and guts.

Kata prowled around the room, meowing obscenities.

She lunged at the Black Death, trying to stab at with her small knife, it's skin hardly ripped.

Rhea, being force fed her own brothers heart as Macha was cheined to the stretching device, the RAC ready to rip her apart as well.

Fae, plummeting from the sky, her eyes clawed out.

Sybil grabbed Macha's spear off the floor, quickly slicing the thing in half. She was covered in appalling green goo.

"Oh my……. MACHA!!!!!" Dani screamed. Okay. Okay Dani think. Her instincs took over, and Dani grabbed Macha, careful not to touch the Black Death. "We need to get it off her." She started making her way to the hospital wing.

Lenn, dying in her arms.

With a gasp, Macha came to, jumping to her feet. She quickly fell back down, the octopus body still clinging to her.

"Listen, I don't know your name, but you need to hang in there okay. That's not real! Those illusions aren't real, understand?" She spoke slowly, trying to hold back any emotion.

Macha nodded weakly, unable to speak.

Dani held on tightly to Macha. "Macha relax."

Kata continued to meow obscenities. Why couldn't she had been given opposable thumbs.

"Get her out of here. I'll take care of cleanup." Sybil ordered, wiping some of the goo off her face.

"Kata watch your language. Macha, I'm going to get it off you. Just try to stay with us, okay?" She slid her arm under Macha's to help her walk.

Macha nodded again,wishing Ace was there..

Skylar followed quickly, shocked.

Kata paled, usually only Zander could understand her, then slipped Macha's other arm around her neck to help her walk.

Right, left, left, right Dani thought as she walked through the winding halls, finally getting to the hospital wing.

The only thing Macha could think was: “Promise me that I’ll still go to the ball, Dani?”

Dani chuckled softly. "Don't worry Macha. We'll get you there in a few minutes."

Dani led Macha to a weird-looking machine. "Alright just lay down here."
