@ShadeStar
Brendon looked at her and almost frowned, "Is something up Blaine?"
Brendon looked at her and almost frowned, "Is something up Blaine?"
Blaine shook her head, holding the smile on her face as convincingly as she could. "No, it's nothing. Everything's good."
Brendon walked towards her, "Are you sure?"
"Mm-hm," Blaine hummed, nodding as she avoided meeting Brendon's eyes. "I'm fine. Nothing's wrong."
Brendon looked at her, "Your not meeting my eyes. Like whenever that happens anywhere something is majorly wrong. Am I right? Or am I wrong?"
(The song I'm listening to is too happy for Blaine's mood…)
Tears started to form in Blaine's eyes, and she turned away again. She took a deep, shaking breath, wringing her hands together. How was she supposed to tell Brendon that she had such great memories of this place, but, at the same time, those memories made her sad?
(Here comes some background info!)
(Lol.)
Brendon stopped for a moment. He wondered what to do, so he just placed a gently hand on her shoulder and said, "I'm here for you. You don't have to tell me anything, just know I won't judge."
Blaine closed her eyes, a few tears escaping from between her eyelids as she did so, and turned to wrap her arms around Brendon and bury her face in his shoulder.
"It's hard to talk about," she whispered, her voice getting hoarse from the tears that continued to threaten to spill.
(I gtg. Be back in a bit.)
(Okay.)
Brendon sigh as he wrapped her arms around her. He held her close, "I know. Some things can be."
(I'm back!
Gosh, that went faster than I thought it would go…)
Blaine let the tears slip through as she shook with silent sobs. After a while, her tears and shaking finally stopped. She stayed in Brendon's arms for a bit longer.
(And I'm here now!)
Brendon didn't care how long he had to hold her. He would until she was fine and let go of him.
(Lol.
I'm drinking — more like eating — a brownie milkshake. It's really thick…)
Taking a shuddering breath, Blaine finally pulled away. She wiped her cheeks free from tears as she whispered, "Thanks. I needed that."
(Cool.)
Brendon smiled and spoke softly, "Your welcome. Anytime you need a hug I'm free."
"Thanks. Again. And… I'm sorry for ruining our date… I don't know where that came from," Blaine apologized quietly.
Brendon chuckled, "It's absolutely fine. Things just hit us sometimes."
(I am easily distracted…)
"Yeah," Blaine agreed softly. "This park is just…so memorable for me. Sometimes those memories hurt, sometimes they make me laugh. I never know which it'll be until I get here."
Brendon looked at her almost sweetly, "Well I'm glad you have good memories here too. It's not all sad stuff and rainclouds."
Blaine cracked a slight smile as she looked up at Brendon. "Mm-hm. It's just such an emotionally conflicting place," she laughed slightly.
Brendon laughed, "Isn't that life though. Some places are sad, some places are happy."
"Yes, that's true," Blaine agreed with a nod. "But not many places have so many feelings bombarding you at once."
Brendon frowned a bit, "Yeah that does kind of suck."
Blaine sighed, nodding slowly. She gently took Brendon's hand, just wanting to be held a little.
"It does suck," she whispered. "But… It's what makes this place special to me."
Brendon held her hand with a gentle touch, "Well I'm glad."
Blaine looked around the park for a moment before her eyes landing on something in the distance. She looked back over to Brendon with a small smile. "Let's go over to the gazebo over there," she suggested, gesturing to it with her head.
(It took me forever to find the word I meant…)
(Also, here's the gazebo: https://i.pinimg.com/564x/55/e7/2e/55e72e99c6e45694e615c276df9ae82e.jpg )
(Oh lol)
Brendon looked to it and smiled at her brightly, "Sounds great! Let's go!"
He started walking towards the gazebo.
(Plops down on floor
Observation of wildlife is fascinating)
