@Fraust

(I might be able to, but if my fam comes over, then they'll probs want to play games so if I don't show up that's probably why)

@Bri_Soto

(Ready when you all are. I'm thinking a bit of a time skip so that Jay's been released, though still in recovery, and they're all back at the library so that Bridgett can still run the place and newcomers can come? What do you guys think?)

@Bri_Soto

(Let's just kinda start)
Bridgett smiled at Jay as she put a blanket over him. He needed rest to heal. Plus, it was fun creating a little room for him! She and the others had gotten a mattress for him and set it up in one of the rooms upstairs.
Jay's eyes were closed softly, but Bridgett was unsure whether or not he was asleep.

@Bri_Soto

(HELLO! Great, so we're just gonna do a bit of a time skip so that we can keep it at the library and all. Rn, just do whatever, I guess, Bridgett's tucking Jay in and yeah :DDD)

@Bri_Soto

(Lol okie dokie. If someone else wants to step in and talk to Bridgett a bit or else Bridgett can finish getting him to bed and come out?)

Drew's been missing for a while now. He's been able to have no contact with the outside world, once his uncle kidnapped him. He's just been making money for his uncle non-stop. When Drew would refuse to give his uncle what he wanted, his uncle would grab a piece of glass and cut his back where he couldn't reach to help fix himself. He's exhausted and incredibly weak. He's just managed to escape and he's stumbling wildly through the city, trying to find the library. Trying to find Bridgett. Trying to make sure Jay is alright. He needs to get back to the little family he's come to love. He needs to get back… he… he needs to… He nearly passes out about a block away from the Library. He's under the impression that he's in the middle of the city, far away from where he's trying to go. He's so disoriented and he feels lost. His back is bleeding and he's freezing. He crouches in an alleyway, curls up, and shivers. please… someone… "…help…" his weak voice and dry throat is failing him as he curls up and leans against a building.

@Bri_Soto

(this causes me pain, thank you, and lol to your joke)
Bridgett walked out of Jay's room, closing the door softly behind her. She went downstairs to the little Soft Spot by the window and sat with her back against the wall, putting her face in her hands. Jay's okay, everyone else is alright, too… But where's Drew?
All the others were scattered throughout the library. None of them had seen Drew since the hospital and the worry of the past few days (or was it weeks? Bridgett wasn't sure) was beginning to take a toll on her. She just hoped he was okay.

@Fraust

(Yeeeep)
Jay woke with a start, his heart pounding. He'd been having nightmares for a while now, but didn't bother to tell Bridgett about them. She wouldn't care, obviously. She would just tell him to relax because they're 'just dreams'. Unfortunately, that wasn't exactly the case. They were memories. Jay rubbed at his eyes and drew his knees up to his chest, knowing he wouldn't be getting any more sleep for a while. He sighed, hiding his face in his arms, which were crossed over top of his knees.

@Bri_Soto

(WHY WOULD THE BOY THINK BRIDGETT WOULDN'T CARE?! After all they've been through… Also, Why, my poor bb boi? I also love that they're both doing sorta similar things in different rooms with their knees to their chests and e'erybodies stressed out)
Bridgett sighed heavily. She should probably head to bed, but how could she? She was exhausted to the bone, but there wasn't a teaspoon of her being that felt like sleeping.

@Fraust

(BECAUSE THE BOY ISN'T USED TO EXPECTING PEOPLE TO CARE)
This is hopeless… there's no way I can sleep now. Maybe Bridgett can…? Well, I suppose it's worth a shot. Jay cautiously stood up and folded the blanket, laying it on the bed before quietly walking down the stairs. He couldn't see Bridgett, so assumed she was asleep or something. He looked around the library a moment before he spotted what he was looking for. He picked up the book and ran a finger along the letters of the title. I've got to learn sometime… "Pe… P-Peter Pan…" He whispered to himself, sitting down at one of the tables as he flipped open the book. "There's no way… I can't distinguish any of these scribbles." The only thing he could decipher were the words of the title; Peter Pan.

@Bri_Soto

(I KNOW BUT IT STILL HURTS MY HEART THING)
Bridgett had looked up at the sound of light footsteps. Jay had gotten the book she had started reading to him down. She stood up slowly as he started to sound out the words.
"…can't distinguish any of these scribbles." She heard him mumble.
"Hey, Jay," She said quiet and gently, "do you want me to help you with that?"

@Fraust

Jay jumped and fell off the chair at Bridgett's voice suddenly coming out of nowhere. He was still clutching the book to his chest and took a moment to compose himself. "B-Bridgett? Where'd… where'd you come from?"
