The dog is overwhelmed and growls at Romano, jumping on him and barking violently, it is unsteady due to ththe cut paw but still strong. The bell is dinging.

Tamriel walked outside noticing the boy with the wolf ears. "uh… what?"

The boy makes a frightened sound, a puffy orange tail whipping out from where it was hiding under his long dusty shirt and flailing around trying to keep balance but it failed and he crashed down to the floor with he dog on-top of him
"Sorrysorrysorry!!!" he quickly says, terrified and unsure what to even do at this point. 'with all these vampires around surely someone would notice me and this time i might not be able to get away from another pureblood family' was the only thing he could think of.

The dog barks at the boy and tries to run at him but he falls because of the hurt paws.

“Mate, we’re not going to hurt you. No, this isn’t my dog.”

Tamriel walks to the bus stop "is there a party over here?"

“Yeah, we’re trying to figure out who’s dog this is.”

The dog barks at everyone and growls but falls to the ground, whimpering. It howls loudly, like a call for help… From the dark there are growls. There must be more then one dog out in the darkness. But how many exactly. Hunting dogs were pack creatures and usually violent… the injured dog howls.

"ok… this is gonna be fun…" Tamriel glances around at the growls.

the boy crawls up to the dog slowly and puts his hand a little away from the dogs nose.
"It's ok, it's ok, sniff my hand, you know i wont hurt you, i'll keep you safe" he says softly, completely focused on the dog now.

“How do you do that?” Aeron said, eyes focused on the woods behind them.

The dogs collar says ‘Buttermilk’. That must be it’s name, it has no details on it other then the little silver bells that are ringing as the dog whines in pain.

A second dog, a greyhound, comes up to them and sniffs the ‘buttermilk’ dog. The greyhound has blood on its snout and is dragging a lead behind it. Where is the owner?

“Two dogs, a lead, a collar and no owner,” He said. He stood and walked over to the edge of the forest looking for more dogs. He could hear them, that’s for sure.

He gets taken down by a German shephard it has a lead but someone is holding the lead. Their clothes are black like the dark and they can barely be seen.
“Do you have my bloodhound?” They growl. The German Shepard keeps attacking Aeron, biting and scratching.

Tamriel smells the blood and cringes in disgust "ok… not going to be as fun as i thought."

"Are you looking for buttermilk??" The boy calls out, his ears perking up.

“Yes, that’s my dog.” He says, pulling the German Shepard off Aeron.

Aeron pushed the hound off his body, snarling, “There’s a dog over there.” He said, his voice no longer soft but harsh and filled with anger.

The boy waves his hand in the air.
"He's over here!"

The man smiles at him, not in a sorry-I-let-my-dog-hurt-you way but just a bratty cheeky way. He goes to get the injured dog and picks it up, groaning. “And, I’m just wondering, can I have a hand with getting my other dogs. I have a bunch and they escaped.” He says, grinning.

Aeron stood and watched from the tree line.

"as long as no more dogs attack us, you'll get them back… if they attack, expect to find a dead dog…" tamriel had a blank expression on his face

“If you touch my dogs I’ll eat you.” The man says, totally not bothered. He hums and calls out for his dogs, looking around. “And look, they’re hunting dogs, they will do what they’re trained to, hunt humans.” He explains, whistling.

The boy looks mortified.
"No dog killing, or killing in general!! if they attack just try calm them down, they'd be stressed!!" he squeaks. he looks at the man.
"I'll help, but on one condition" he says softly.

“Humans? Lucky we’re not human.”

Romano shuddered at the statement. "W-well…."

“Don’t worry, we won’t hurt you.”

Elon shrugs.
“I might…”
