Zander pulled Blake along the twisting hallways until they finally reached the medical center. He rushed in to check on his sister, and to his relief she hadn't been hurt.Further. She hadn't been hurt further. Zander sighed and looked at Blake. He could hurt himself if he wasn't careful. Zander grabbed him by the arm and pulled him into the room." Blake if I leave you here, can you protect my sister?"

"With my life." Blake grumbled resolutely, although still unsteady on his feet. He gave Zander a traditional R.A.C. salute, holding his fist over his heart. He then moved the Lily's bedside, standing stiffly next to it in order to stand guard.

Dani pushed the others out the door, following close behind them as they ran down the hallway.

(Aha, so I'm back for right now and I've had an idea.)
(Ok so everyone here has suffered MPS(Missing Partner Syndome) and were unable to contribute until they returned because they were in a solo interaction. And while we can only have one character, to help those who wait for their partners, maybe they can play a secondary character( i.e. Niki(T.G.R.) and Brie(R.A.C.) or Dani's brother(T.G.R.)( and anyone else they can think of) ) until their partner gets back, so that they can contribute, and help to progress the story )
(@Natasha and @TiredOtter because Blake is drunk and guarding Lily, maybe @TiredOtter can play the Black Death ?)

Blood on Blood by Ryan Graudin. It's a Dystopian novel about "What if the Nazis won the war?"
