Lillian thought for a second. She remembered where Lloyd's old apartment was, "Hey remember your old apartment? There's one near there he could go. That way he only needs to walk. Or if you stay at Darren's I think there's a bus stop in the neighborhood."
Ryan walked toward the door, not exactly in his right mind. His hand hit the doorknob and he stopped, he turned his head to look at Belle. This went against everything he'd ever promised her, but he was keeping her safe from him.
Theo raised his eyebrows at Jakeās angry state,āI totally hear what your saying but what happened with your parents? Did they get mad at you for going to the record shop with me?ā
"Yes. And that I hang out with you at all," He took a deep breath and sat at the end of the bed, clearly stressed out.
She couldn't keep it together. She threw her face in her hands and cried. He was going to leave just like everyone else. She'd be alone again. "Why do they always leave?" She whispered.
He walked back to her and pulled her into a hug. "I told you I'd never leave you,"
She sobbed into his shoulder. "Then why are you?"

"That would workā¦ but I'd hate to make him walk. A bus would work as well. They areā¦ they're safe, right?"
Theo sighed as he moved to sit next to Jake,āI am not really sure what to say since I havenāt had the experience with my parents your having but your clearly stressed by it.ā
Lillian nodded and smiled, "Yep. Rode one for thirteen years and look at me. I'm fine. Well not really."
She sobbed into his shoulder. "Then why are you?"
"I'm not," He whispered back, pulling out of the hug to look at her. "I couldn't," Ryan used his thumb to wipe her tears. "You know what has to happen?"
She sniffed. "What?"
Lloyd nodded thoughtfully. "I suppose that'll have to do, thenā¦ I assume they leave at certain times and such? They'll go to the proper place?"
"I would never go without a plan," he kissed her forehead. "Do you trust me?"

Jake took a deep breath ending with a long sigh, "I'm okay, Just needed to blow off some steam,"
She took a deep breath. "I do trust you."
"Then remember that I wouldn't leave you, I promised. I'll come back I swear it'll only take a day or two,"
Lloyd nodded thoughtfully. "I suppose that'll have to do, thenā¦ I assume they leave at certain times and such? They'll go to the proper place?"
Lillian thought for a second, "Yeah they leave at a certain time. They get back around they same time too. Normally a bus will stop and more kids will come on and then the bus will go to all the different schools dropping the kids off. Nate will have to make sure he gets off at the right one."
She met his eyes. "Promise?"

"Yeah, I'll have him ask the driver to make sure. Or I could cast a concealment spell on Apollo and he could ride himā¦"
She met his eyes. "Promise?"
Ryan nodded with the biggest smile he could muster, a smirk. "Promise. I need you to promise me something too,"
Lillian shook her head, "Don't do the second option. The driver's are more than prepared to help a kid on there first day of school. Maybe some other kids on the bus will too."
"What is it?" She was a small bit nervous. If he asks us to kill someoneā¦ I wouldn't mind that too much. This is why I don't like you. Love you too Lily!
"Promise me that no matter what, you won't shut down. Promise me that you'll keep going and moving on until I come back. I need Belle when I get back not Nami or Insanity just the love of my life, okay?"

"I hope soā¦" Lloyd said anxiously. "I just wish that I could beā¦ could be good enough for Nate. He deserves so much more than an incompetent teenage brother as a parental figure. I don't know much about the ways of humans, and I don't know how to help him a lot of the timeā¦"
She smiled. "I promise." She paused for a second. "Just stay safe okay? I love you."
āWell anything you want to do?,ā Theo asked as he tried not to sound to flustered at what Jake had said, āWhatās something you like to do that helps you relax?ā
Lillian chuckled, "Well as long as you admit your mistakes your doing just fine Lloyd. No one can perfectly raise a child. Especially while they are a child."
Ryan nodded, he wouldn't cry now. He was going to Augustine and he wasn't sure when he was coming back. "I love you too," Ryan pulled a small black box out of his pocket, it had a red light on it that was off and a button in the middle. He handed it to Belle. "If you need me, press the button and talk, I won't be able to talk back other than in morse codeā¦. but if that light stays on for more than a minute, it means I'm in trouble."
