"Just." Tyson turned to her. "Y'know…fair, righteous."

“Ohhhh. That just.” Lucille said slowly, nodding.

The shadow shifted. "It's getting dark. We need to head inside."

Tyson raised an eyebrow. "Why is a shadow afraid of the dark?"

“A shadow afraid the dark, that sounds adorable and hilarious.” Lucille chuckled, putting her arm on Tyson’s shoulder.

The shadow rumbled. "I'm not afraid of the dark! I'm afraid of the things that come with it here."

Tyson blinked. "That's a horse of a different color."

“The shadow has a point.” Lucille shrugged, “We should probably head inside.”

"Thank you for obliging." The shadow huffed. It started along the rooftop, drifting like a cloud.

Tyson glanced at Lucille. "That guy is really sensitive."

“Sameeee.” Lucille whispered, nodding. Then in a louder voice, “C’mon Ty, let’s follow Wispy.”

"dON'T CALL ME THAT PLEASE!" The shadow yelped.

Tyson snickered.

The shadow sighed. "Fine."

Tyson looked at Lucille. "He did say please, Lu."

Lucille shrugged, “Alexis said ‘please’ too. I told on him anyways.”

"You savage, girl." Tyson laughed.

"HURRY UP HUMANS."

“I know.” Lucille grinned, “Now c’mon, before Wispy gets too mad.”

Tyson squeezed her hand and jogged to catch up with Wispy.
