She bit back her grin and silently closed the door and locked it. Wait that's it? You realize he can probably… Oh shut it. I jinxed the lock to make it unbreakable by anyone but Belle and the entire basement is covered in a no communication zone. He can't use his phone or any other electronics he has and he can't break the lock. He'll die down there before he gets out.
Ryan sighed in relief as the sharp ringing faded. He sat in the music room with his kneed to his chest and tears running down his face.
She kneeled next to him and cuddled him to her chest. "It's okay Ryan. Shh, it's okay."
He moved his shaky hands from his ears revealing a a thin trail of blood from his ear.
That bastard! He'll pay for what he's done! She gently wiped the blood away, healed the wounds so he wouldn't be in pain before bringing him closer to her. "It's okay sweetheart, I'll take care of you."
Ryan nodded as he leaned into her weakly. “W-where is h-he?”
"Locked in the basement with no possible way to get out except through me and there's no way in hell I'm letting that bitch go."
"Really? Why should I? Why shouldn't let the bastard rot down there?"
“He’ll die and more will come to fin him,” Ryan was still shaking.
She sighed. "Fine I'll let him go…in a little bit. He can stay down there for a small bit longer." She went back to her attempts to get him to stop trembling.
“He’ll get s-suspicious,”
She rolled her eye. "They're always suspicious. Don't worry, I'll replace his memories before he leaves. We'll be fine sweetheart."
He swallowed hard and nodded as he tried to take deep breathes but they were shaky as he let out a small whimper.
She wrapped her legs around his waist and she pulled him into her chest, humming a relaxing tune.
Ryan closed his eyes as his breathes became clearer and less shaky. A yelling could be heard from downstairs making him tremble again.
Can that dude like shut up? Hold on I got this. She snapped and it all went quiet. "I feel like I abuse my power to mute people. Eh, I don't care."
Ryan laughed a little and controlled his breathing. "I'm a chicken. Sorry,"
"Nooo no you're not." She squeezed him in a hug. "You're not a chicken."
He let out a deep breath, "They scare me. You have no idea what it was like in A-Augustine," his tremor had been controlled to only his hand which was shaking violently.
She shook her head. "I don't know. And I don't want to know. It sounds painful. I don't want to force you to relive that." She took his shaking hand in her own, lacing their fingers together with a small smile.
He nodded and squeezed her hand as it tremored. "I'll tell you, I have to at some point," He sniffed.
"But that point isn't right now. Right now it's just about calming you down." She went back to her humming.
"I-I'm okay, Belle," He stiffened his hand to make it stop shaking.
"You are anything but okay Ryan. And that's fine. It's okay to not be okay."
He picked his head up from her chest to look in her eye. His eyes weren't the same he looked broken and afraid compared to the normal blue-eyed confidence. "I'll be okay," He nodded but more to reassure himself.
(Yeah I'm not reading all that lol. I doubt any of it has any significance for me anyhow. Lillian called the house, right?)
(Yes and a hunter is locked in RyRy's basement)
(Yeup! i'm trying to get you involved :)
(Noice)
Lloyd eyed Darren's ringing phone warily, but picked it up after a few seconds. "Hello? Who's there?"
