(Sorry if I sound like a dramatic teenage girl… you know the ones that are crying their eyes out but when someone asks "What's wrong?" The say 'Im fine!')

He sat down next to her, "I agree, they always think if they beg hard enough you'll spare them. If only they knew how annoying that made them,"

She giggled. Little did he know she was still here. Watching and listening. "It's quite loud too. I always like to kill them when either their back is turned or they're asleep so they don't do that. I rarely go for victims that are awake because of it."

"I'm quite different in that sense. Their screams are almost satisfying. I like them to see their killer. Hard to do that when your back is turned," He was in a depression of his own.

She shrugged. "Okay true but it's sooo much easier to deal with quiet targets. If I do go for awake targets, I try to do it at night. You know, those night owls or the ones who stay up to check and make sure everyone else is asleep."

(I love it when my pissy attitude projects into my characters…

"I usually scare them first… Make noises… It's more about the hunt and the game than the kill. Although the kill gives you that rush,"

(I'm just a naturally pissy and sassy person so all of my characters are like that.)

Her smile seemed more natural. Belle was slowly, ever so slowly, coming back. "Of course you would say that. I'm more about the direct surprise. The final look forever frozen on their face is just shock and surprise and horror. It's great."

"Sure, sure. I just prefer them to not understand what's happening until they see the face of a demon,"f

"Oooo that does have a level of satisfaction to it. But it's easier for you than me. Have you ever tried convincing little Susie Do-Good over here to split so I could have some fun with that? It's impossible."

"I believe you. She can be uptight sometimes,"

She laughed. "She'd punch you for that. She's so sensitive. Like geez! You'd think after all the abuse she'd learn to take a joke!" Maybe I don't want to be here for this… Belle faded back, letting her insanity do the talking.
(Life does suck. But when does it not suck.?)

Ryan sighed, "Yeah she has her moments," He laid his head back.

She smiled and continued her swinging. "So. What else are we going to insult her on while we're here?"

"Nothing, I didn't take over to complain about the innocent one," He closed his eyes in utter irritation, "She's really untrusting? What the fuck did I do to be untrustworthy?"

She giggled. "Well you know her. Being a detective and with her past and all that (jazz) I'm honestly surprised she trusts anyone. She doesn't trust you because of what she knows about your past and the fact that you're so close to her and you would have the easiest time betraying her cause you know everything about her."

"What about my past?" He scoffed, "Right, I forgot she thinks I'm cold enough to kill my sister,"

(Don't mind me just slipping in little Chicago references.)
She nodded. "Yep! But what else is new? She never trusts anyone. Okay, what else can we complain about when it comes to her?"

Ryan shook his head, "He really loves her, he doesn't have much to complain about."
