Abby pulled out her phone and quickly read Veda's text. Her stress was 4 times the max level. She texted back: I'm working on it. and put her phone away. She massaged her temples. "What were you thinking, Cal? This is the last thing that I need right now…"
"You have no idea how hard school is for me," Cal muttered, shaking his head faintly as he felt a twinge of pain for making Abby even more stressed. "Kids make fun of me for having a prosthetic, and today…" He trailed off and left it at there, shrugging a bit as he tapped his foot on the ground out of habit.
"So, are we starting this meeting as soon as Abby and Cal come home?"
I'll try. I have to plan practice with my assistant coaches, still. And get Cal to tell me why today had to be the day that he picked a fight in school… Abby sighed and focused her gaze intently on Cal. "So, what have you got to say for yourself?"
"i would assume so" she started typing. * i can deal with Cal if you want me to, so you can get your other stuff done*
No, it's my responsibility, Abby quickly sent.
okay, whatever you say she clicked off her phone and set it on the table. "anybody want coffee or something else?" she wanted to make herself feel useful
She shut her eyes. "Can I have some apple juice?"
Abby skimmed Kendra's response but didn't reply. "Cal, what was so important about this that you had to get into a fight?"
"Sure" Kendra stood and got a cup, filling it with apple juice from the fridge. She set it on the table and stood with both hands on the edge of the table.
Aaron stifled a laugh. "Water would be fine." He said as he pulled Veda down onto the couch, tickling her sides. "AARON! NO!" Veda shrieked, laughing.
(Gtg, goodnight!)
(lol yea. i have to go guys. Good night)
She murmured a thanks to Kendra and sipped her juice.
(Goodnight y'all!)
(All by myseeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllf!)
(I'm back
For like .2 seconds
To say that I have noticed we are down a person. Aka Holly and her creator. I'm not going to open the rp again bc the chaos is really chaotic
But if you would like to write characters that will not live in the apartment but still like…..hang around the apartment or do things with the main characters or provide as love interests ect. like I'm doing with Aaron and Carter and Sophia, that's completely fine.)
(Kk thanks for the heads up)
(Okie! Keeping that in mind… ;D)
(Kay, I gtg for real this time……..even though I don't want to. Night!)

"I-I'm sorry, Abby," Cal mumbled, leaning back into his chair as he looked down at his lap, shaking his head faintly at himself. If he could be more like Abby or anyone else, maybe he would be a better friend to everyone in their house. "Can I talk to Kendra about it…"
(Wow….I still haven't left. What a shocker. Lol)
Veda finally managed to get out from under Aaron and grabbed her phone. Hey Cal, you okay? She typed, knowing that something was off.

Cal heard his phone chime and looked down, glancing up at Abby before typing a quick message discreetly and sending it. I'm alright. Just with Abby.
I'll try. I have to plan practice with my assistant coaches, still. And get Cal to tell me why today had to be the day that he picked a fight in school… Abby sighed and focused her gaze intently on Cal. "So, what have you got to say for yourself?"

"I'd like you to talk to me," Abby responded flatly. "What started it?"
Veda nodded and texted back, Gotcha. If you need, I'll deal with her. Also, I have a visitor at the apartment and I know that you have that overprotective little brother instinct so just wanted to give you a heads up that you needn't be worried when you get home.

Cal sighed and rubbed his temples for a few moments before looking back up, tapping his foot on the ground out of habit. "See, everyone knows that I had osteosarcoma cancer at some point, so people either pity or make fun of me. It's one or the other," He began, propping his head up against the palm of his hand as he leaned forward on his elbows. "There's this kid who started calling me things and then said that I… I should have died from my cancer. That's when I punched him…" Cal finished, shrugging a bit as he looked down again.
Abby's features softened. "Cal… I-I'm sorry…" She pulled Cal tight into a hug. "I'll take care of it, I promise."
"Okay, here's the deal, we're going home," Abby announced, leading Cal back to the principal's office.
"Home? I'm afraid that Mr. Teller is going to be suspended for three days," the principal answered, looking up from a call as he set the phone down, studying the pair for a few moments.
(Meanwhile… Vivian is sipping on apple juice…)
