Drew carried her over to a cot and laid the cute, sleepy girl down. He brushed another hair out of her face while his other hand lingered a little too long on her hip. He then shook his head and walked over to the light switch and flipped it off.

After a bit, Jay woke up again. He opened his eyes, but thought for a moment that he hadn't. Then, he realized it was pitch dark in the room and he could see nothing. The heart monitor began beeping more and more rapidly, and Jay tried to make out something, anything in the room. Calm down, calm down, calm down… they must be here somewhere…

The heart monitor began beeping more and more rapidly, and Jay tried to make out something, anything in the room. Calm down, calm down, calm down… they must be here somewhere…
Drew felt Jay starting to freak out. So, he went over and sat on the side of the bed next to him. He grabbed Jay's hand and whispered, "It's okay, kid. I'm here. Go to sleep, now." He waited until Jay fell asleep before he himself dozed off, still holding Jay's hand.

As everyone was falling asleep, Allison was still reading. It took a while, but eventually the book wore her out, and she went out cold. Allison slept through quite a bit, but her dreams were filled with the idea of going home.
