It was much later in the night when Lillian woke up again. Her body was in less pain but everything still hurt like a bitch.

Darren was sleeping on a chair next to Lillian but holding her hand tightly, his hands laced with hers.

Lillian glanced over to see Darren sleeping. She looked back to the ceiling. She must've worried him. That and she did crash his baby, right? Was it her fault or the other drivers? Who was the other car anyway? She couldn't remember.
