Nathaniel appeared to be sleeping again, and Lloyd relaxed slightly. It was obvious that he worried about Nate a lot.
"You don't have to worry dude, the only thing I'm good at is looking after kids,"
"Well, Nate likes you at least." Lloyd started fidgeted with his wings, trying to fix the bent and bedraggled feathers.

She placed her hand on his knee and stopped his bouncing. "Well I would have appreciated it if you told me first."
Ryan looked over at her, "Sorry," he wiggled his toes as a substitute.
She smiled. "Anyways, what did you do whilst I was asleep?"

"Okay so under the assumption you know what the WhiteLighter Compass is, when Rory holds it it spins… You know what it's supposed to do right?"

Darren nodded, "Yeah, it does… When I or Ryan hold it, it behaves and points to us but when Rory holds it, it spins…"

"Well, we can't be sure unless he knows what he is. I'm an angel; that's plain enough. And that is the reason it points to me. Or perhaps it spins because he is nearest to the forest? Phos and Val are in there, along with their foal that I haven't named yet. Would you like me to summon them?"

Lloyd shrugged and whistled. It was different than the one he usually used for Val and/or Phos. He went to open the door, and an alicorn foal trotted inside. "Hello, little one."
