@ODragon
“seriously!” Gregory exclaimed,”You are leaving us under the watch of a child?”
“seriously!” Gregory exclaimed,”You are leaving us under the watch of a child?”
Thalia noticed how Rvan cautiously glanced at her fellow teammates. “Oh don’t worry, they are really harmless…or least as long as you don’t consider Nula in that equation. But you would be dead by now if she wanted to harm you. So you’re fine.” Thalia said (hoping Rvan wouldn’t dwell on what she said about Nula. She gestured for Rvan to follow her up this flight of stairs.
Rvan followed Thalia up the stairs, turning into a half-shadow whenever she looked at him. She brought him to a room, with a nice bed and functional setup. He cautiously went inside and instantly filled the room with darker shadows and something closed the curtains. It kind of reminded him of his old bedroom.
Rvan turned to look at Thalia.
“Well, your bathroom is just behind that door—oh and there’s a phone over there if you want to contact your family and let them know you alright.” Thalia glanced at her shoes she wasn’t sure if Rvan wanted her to leave or not. “If you need anything else my room is just two doors down.”
“I don’t-“ Rvan started, not even sure why he was saying this, “My -uh- family is dead.”
Thalia’s eye widened briefly, but her shock was replaced with a sad smile. “Looks like we have something in common then.”
Rvan went red again, “Thanks for the help…” He murmured, hoping she would leave so he could sit in his shadows.
Thalia sighed. “Anytime, Rvan . Sorry for scaring you earlier. I don’t know if you can tell, but we really don’t get visitors often.” Thalia walked towards the door. She could tell she was making him nervous now. “Well I guess I’ll see you around. Oh and seriously my doors are always open if you need anything or have any questions about all this.” Thalia smiled at Rvan one more time and began to slip out of the door.
(This is what his dragon form looks like= http://www.creativeuncut.com/gallery-24/art/ds2-dragon-concept.jpg)
Something closed the door to Rvan’s room and he sat on the bed. He put his head between his hands. Gosh, he didn’t belong here. He didn’t belong in this world. He missed, he missed what he used to hate most, being locked up in his room when unfamiliar guests came over. He missed not having any friends when he was younger. He missed being whoever he wanted to be, a draman, freely in his parent’s home. And now he’d be a slave to the sick games he only heard fractions of information about. Rvan almost stayed up all night, but at one point something tucked him to sleep.
Bang! Bang! (Sound is coming from outside of Rvan’s room)
“Hey, Ryan…ur it is Ryan right?” Gregory muttered beyond Rvan’s door.
“It’s Rvan, idiot.” Nula snarled. “And that’s not the proper way to wake some one up.” Knock! Knock! “Rvan we are going to begin training in tens minutes so you should start getting ready,” Nula explained.
Rvan woke up folded into a corner. The bed must have been too uncomfortable last night. He slowly stood up and slunk over to the drawer. Rvan pulled out a clean black shirt and pants, then headed for the shower. He washed himself then slung on his clothing, his hair still dripping a little bit. Rvan turned into a half-shadow as he walked out to where the other gathered.
Thalia, Gregory, Kyle and Nula had gathered around Draco. “Nula and Gregory, I want you to practice in the flying course today.” Draco instructed.
“Awww, why can’t I practice with Kyle or Thalia or one my own.” Gregory wined.
“That’s because Kyle and Thalia are fastest flyers and you skip a few laps if you go through the flying course unsupervised,” Nula explained and stuck her tongue out at Gregory.
Gregory sneered at Nula exposed tongue.
Draco rolled his eyes. “You do realize the real reason I am putting you two together is because you both need to learn to work together.”
(Nula and Greg left)
Draco looked up to see Rvan watching them. “Rvan you can come… oh um that’s an interesting ability you have there.”
“D-Draco?” Rvan nearly whispered from his half-shadow form, “What should I do?”
Draco gave Rvan a week smile. “Well, I am going to work with Kyle and Thalia on target practice. So it depends, can you hit things with your shadows.”
Rvan shrunk, memories taking him back to his fight in the arena where he nearly choked. He had to swallow, just to be sure. Rvan nodded slightly, “Y-Yeah…”
(So Draco had Thalia, Kyle and Rvan lined up (in that order) in front of wall covered in different moving/ different colored bullseyes.)
“Alright, shift into your dragon forms!” Draco commanded.
Rvan hesitated for a second, watching the other two turn into their dragons. He shifted into the dark, hulking mass of his dragon form. Shadows radiated from him in a defensive manner.
(Just making it unread on your side so it's easier to find next time we rp)
“Now, the best way to channel your elemental at your target is to imagine that your target is what is making you angry and then, send your energy flying towards it.” Draco instructed
Now, Rvan didn't want to be angry at the target. It had done nothing wrong. He slowly let his veins cool instead, settling into his shadows. Then he unleashed them, literally in this case, as they took the form of dogos (like a Patronus) and launched themselves at the targets, making them splinter.
Kyle and Thalia sent fire at there own tagets. Thalia’s fire ball divided into three flaming balls and scorched three targets. Kyle’s only burned the side of his target.
