"Is…is that good?"

"Is what good? The ticking? It's trying to find me," He laughed as the arrow suddenly moved swiftly to point at Ryan. "It found the supernatural," He smiled.

"Oh so it works okay." Rory smiled a little. "Now what?"

"Go to work and see of it finds your ghost I guess," He shrugged and sat back down.

"O-okay." Rory nodded. He stood and started to the door. A nearby shelf keeled over. Rory flinched. "S-sorry."

Ryan laughed, "Not a problem. Let me know what happens!"

Rory looked at the compass. "Uh…..Ryan?"

"Yeah man?"

"Is…is it supposed to be spinning like this?" He held it up. The compass needle was spinning around wildly.

He squinted and stood up, when he was standing close to Rory it stopped and pointed to him. "No, no it's not. It's never done that,"

Rory swallowed hard. "What does it mean?"

Lloyd nodded. "Last night was the first I had slept in ages. Nate seems to be coping fine, though."

Lillian smiled, "He sure does."

She yawned again.

"I don't know what it means." he paused, "I don't think you have a ghost Rory,"

"Well then what do I have?" The needle started to spin again.

"He's young, and the struggles of life haven't quite sunk into his mind yet. He thinks this whole ordeal is just some wild adventure."

He laughed, "I think it's you. Well, not you but something surrounding you. When I hold it, it points to me."

"Why are you laughing? This is serious!" Rory frowned at him.
The compass jumped out of his hands, landing on the carpeted floor with a thump.

Lillian nodded as she started nodding off, "Mhm."

Ryan tried to contain his laughter through a smile as he picked the compass up, it did what it was supposed to and pointed to him. "I agree this is serious, you have some bad mojo or something,"

"Bad mojo? Like a curse?"

"Yeah, I don't maybe. Like a bad aura or like someone put a spell on you. It sounds like Karma," He scratched his head.

"Or it could be multiple ghosts who hover around me."

"Could be, but I don't know how that would really work,"

"Me neither." He cocked his head.
