I have a ton of very interesting fun facts about my favorite president thomas jefferson, who wants to hear xD?)

• thomas hefferson had like eight dogs that were gifts from friends. He hated having them but he kept them anyway
• Thomas Jefferson is an INFJ (as am I :D )
• he had two pet peacocks and a mickingbird name Dick/Richard, who he let eat birdseed out of his mouth
• He once broke his wrist to impress a girl named Rebecca, but he called her Belinda for some reason
• he had a weird habit of wearing dirty outdoor clothes and a straw hat at formal meetings because "it's comfortable"
• he stuttered reallybadly in public speeches. Sometimes he had somebody else speak for him since his stuttering was that bad
• he married Martha Wales Skelton, who died from illness. Her death caused him so much grief that he burned all reminders of her escept for a locket holding some of her hair that he wore til death.
• nobody really knows what Martha looks like, but experts say she was probably very pretty.
• only 1 of his 4 kids with Martha survived to adulthood
• it's rumored (and proven recently) that he had a lot of kids with one of his slaves Sally Hemings, who was significantly younger than he was … 0v0
• He actually didn't want slaves, but his father in law gave them to him so he was kinda stuck
• he played the violin
• everybody at the time thought tomatoes were still poisonous but thomas knew they werent so he went to a meeting once and ate a tomato in front of everybody just to scare the crap out of them
• he had two bears and had no clue how to care for them
• he made mac n cheese so much that his visitors began to complain but he kept serving it anyway
• he named one of his sons James and another Madison ;)
• he had carrot colored hair xD
• super lanky
• he was plagued with week-long crushing migraines. Usually triggered by failed flirting attempts xD
• After martha's death, for some time, he fell in love with a married woman but it went nowhere
• Martha asked him to never marry after his death, and he kept that promise i guess
• im probably a huge nerd for knowing all this
• he died with a lot of debt over his head because he dreamed of living in choking luxury (lots of imported wines too)
• he could speak German, Spanish, Latin, French, and Greek
• invented the swivel chair, a machine that could write multiple letters at once, and a noodle making machine

• was best buds with john adams til presidency, which then they hated each other with a burning passion til they were old and became best buds again
