Ryan was just watching Belle with a smile.
Ryan was just watching Belle with a smile.
She glanced up and smiled. "Why don't you take a picture, it'll last longer."
"Because a simple picture could never do you justice. Why have a picture when I have the real thing,"
She rolled her eyes. "Okay cheesy."
"I am cheesy… Tonight is only going to get more cheesy so I hope you feel flattered," He went back to eating his food.
"Oh boy I can't wait." She giggled.
Ryan had inhaled his food, per usual. "Almost done?"
"Already done sweetheart." She took another sip of her drink.
"I'm happy we have the common trait of eating our food with our jaws unhinged." He paid the bill and smiled at her.
She laughed. "Yeah that is true. So! Where to next on our little adventure?"
"Do you like quiet days on the beach?"
"Yesss they're amazing."
He smiled and walked out to his bike wordlessly.
She followed after quickly. This dude is so cheesy it hurts. Yes but that's why I love him.
He got on the bike and drove. They drove for awhile until a breathtaking view of a large body of water came into sight. He parked, "Like it?"
She glanced at him. "Do I really have to answer that question? Because I think you already know."
He got off the bike and took his shoes off next to it. He began walking toward the beach, his hand swinging openly at his side for her to grab and join.
She slipped off her shoes and ran to catch up before grabbing his hand, lacing her fingers with his.
He readjusted his hand so his fingers filled the spaces in her hands perfectly. "There's never anyone here,"
"Of course there isn't. People don't know how to pause and appreciate beauty."
He stopped walking and stared at her.
She paused too. "What?"
"I was taking this opportunity to pause and appreciate beauty." He smiled.
She laughed and smiled. "Yep, the cheesiness is only growing stronger."
"I will only get stronger from here, I promise!" He walked and laid a towel out on the sand before gesturing for her to sit. He laid on his belly, facing the water.
She laid down next to him, resting her head on her arms with a small smile. "Being at the beach at sunset is every couple's dream."
"Well, good thing that's the plan," He kissed her cheek. "Dream come true," He said with sarcasm.
"I will punch you." She laughed. "Don't make me do it cause you know I will."
He stood up and looked down at her and then at the water. "Have you ever seen a dog at the beach?"
She stood up, brushing sand off her jeans. "I have a feeling I'm about to."
