She raised an eyebrow. "Seriously? We're going to play this game? The one where you pretend you're fine and I sit here and go crazy knowing you're not but know I'm not going to get the answer out of you? Cut the bullshit and just tell me."
He looked away as his face turned red, "I'm hungry," He was ashamed of it.
"Really? That's it? Boy, I was sat here going out of my damn mind wondering. Why didn't you say something earlier?" She held a small amused smile.
"Not like that, I'm not exactly craving take out," Dude, just tell her you want some people juice. Dude⦠Shut the fuck up!
"No, I already knew that. You're craving blood. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out."
He looked her in the eye and bit as his lip nervously, "I'm fine,"
"No, you're really not. You know, if you asked nicely enough, I wouldn't care if you took some of mine." She shrugged. ARE. YOU. CRAZY??? A little bit, yeah.
He shuddered at the thought of, warm, fresh, human blood. "I wouldn't want to hurt you," She has the necklace! You'll be fine! CHUG! CHUG! Shhh
"I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't offer if I did. Just don't kill me, okay?" She giggled.
He took a deep breath, "I wouldn't kill you," His eyes were already wide and in a focused trance on her neck. No but I would!
He kissed her cheek and reached her neck, placing kissing all along her jawline and lowering himself. He bit down gently into her neck and sighed audibly in relief as the blood came slowly. His grip around her tightened.
She tried to relax, to keep calm. She took a deep breath. Just relax, you'll be fine. No you won't I will fucking murder you in your sleep. Jesus okay then.
He stopped and put his forehead on her cheek and panted with his eyes shut tight. Control⦠We have none! His nails were now claws and they dug into her side gently.
She could feel her wounds sting from the air. She quickly healed them. "You okay there?" See? I'm not dead! He had control! Something tells me it won't last for long thoughā¦
He nodded against her face, "I'm okay, can I have more or are you cutting me off?"
She shrugged. "I mean, you can keep going if you want. But if I start dying I am zapping yo ass and bolting."
He pecked her lips, "Thank you," he lingered there before going back to kiss her neck. His teeth weren't as gentle as they were before as they sank in. The blood came faster and his vision became spotted from the pleasure.
She felt a bit more on edge but chose to ignore it. This is for him so he doesn't go and murder a bunch of people. Yeah, but it's also gonna be your funeral. And it's also gonna be yours if you don't shut up!
He kept going, longer than he had the last time. He deepened the bite but didn't even notice he had done it as his hand moved to hold her face.
She took in a sharp breath, then attempted to slowly let it go. Jesus, this dude is lucky I'm immortal and don't need blood or else I'd be either passed out or dead. I told you so. I will stab you.
He pulled his mouth away quickly and wiped the blood from his lips, "Are you okay?" He whispered. You were so close, why'd you stop. I'm ignoring youā¦
She nodded quickly. "Yeah, I'm fine." YOU ARE ANYTHING BUT FINE. WHEN AM I EVER FINE.
He smiled as his claws retracted and his eyes returned to their normal shade of blue. "By fine you mean you're not dead, or in a thousand pieces,"
She shrugged and smiled. "That and I wasn't going to pass out and leave you with a limp body."
"Good thing, I would have been upset then," He smiled back at her. Human blood was good for him, it kept him strong.
She tilted her head slightly. "Are you done now? Can I patch up the holes in my neck?"
He nodded, "Yeah, you can do that," He laughed nervously, "Thanks," She risked her life and you pay her with a thanksā¦
She healed her wounds and giggled. "It's no problem. It actually kinda tickled, if I have to be honest."
āI tried to be gentle,ā he was happy it didnāt hurt her too bad.
She scruffed up his hair. "Yeah, I noticed. Thanks for that. I was expecting some horror movie, ah-I've-been-stabbed-in-the-neck kind of thing but expectations are deceiving."
His nervous laugh returned, āI donāt think I could do that to you,ā
